Calling a late penalty in a tied game on a one handed “hooking “ call in an elimination game is just brutal. Honestly, what would possesses a ref to choose that moment for such a marginal call. It robbed the teams and the fans of the ending that game deserved.
The referees were terrible for the last 5-10mins. The makeup call 2min left against USA was also not up to bar with the game. And then finally the early whistled icing with 10s left robbed Finns from their last chance. Both teams played absolutely amazing game. Shame that they and spectators were robbed of ending the game deserved.

The Americans have a monopoly in hockey, basketball, baseball, etc... That's what makes fútbol much more exciting; there's competitive leagues all across the globe, not so much in the sports listed above. So to be surprised that the Americans have the best league is kinda foolish
What I like about the US team is their speed in terms of skating and decision making along with their techniques. Although you can find the latter in the European hockey, it's still much slowier than the North American style, unfortunately. What puzzles me the most is that it's been this way for at least a decade , and nothing seems to have been done by Europe to catch up with America in those components.

What's the difference between Switzerland and Finnish referee, both experienced injustice. Sweden make goal the second power-play and went on in the tournament. He was supposed to dive... A penalty had to be given to USA from the prior penalty of your player falling by himself and getting called a trip, which led to a pp goal, so you shouldn't even of had the win should be tied with uncertain future. Be happy and keep your fucking trap shut.

Finally Fins punished for terrible play style. So many penalties that referees didnt see, diving like that one in the last 3 minutes of play which resulted in penalty for USA. I hope they will get destroyed in bronze game, they dont deserve anything
He was supposed to dive... A penalty had to be given to USA from the prior penalty of your player falling by himself and getting called a trip, which led to a pp goal, so you shouldn't even of had the win should be tied with uncertain future. Be happy and keep your fucking trap shut.
