Apparently, they didn't. Czechs made many defensive mistakes on almost each goal, each time they were caught watching the puck and not taking the body, so it made the Finland's job quite easy in first two. And then they thought their 3 goal lead is insurmountable, and they completely stopped playing. Plus, Czechs scored what...3 goals in PP? I have no idea how we managed to salvage this game, but I’m not complaining. I thought we were done for. Defense coaches of both teams must be laying side by side on the coronary unit right now, because both teams have rolled red carpets all the way to their creases today. We couldn’t control Finnish screening, and the Finns had no idea how to control our cross-ice passes. The coaches on both sides must be livid. I must say, I’ve been watching hockey all my life, but never before have I seen a complete meltdown like this. The Finns conceded 6 unanswered goals. Kind of spoils my satisfaction from the bronze medal, as I kinda like the Finns and don’t want to see them lose like this. That’s utterly demoralizing. Hopefully this will put some fire in their bellies and they end up having success in their senior careers. As for our boys, I’m really proud of their determination and never say die attitude. In the offensive zone, that is. Some of our defensive plays were … well some players will blush when they re-watch some of the moments. Medal’s one worse than last year, but hey, at least there is a medal, and we won our last game.
@@PiscotV No question. You WIN the bronze medal. You don't win the silver, you just lose the gold. Actually, few things in the world suck so bad as silver medal. To be so close, but no cigar...

That was good hockey, from both sides. Love an entertaining game!
Complete utter horse-shit bullshit from Finland.
We shouldn'r even made this far a relegation round should've been our bronze.
End of that game was so hard to watch ass a finn.
We started well like every time in this tournament but in 2nd and 3rd periods we were in trouble.
Chechia earned the bronze Finland was so baaad love from Fin
What a game!!!
Bronze medal is better than silver, as it comes from a win.
@@PiscotV No question. You WIN the bronze medal. You don't win the silver, you just lose the gold. Actually, few things in the world suck so bad as silver medal. To be so close, but no cigar...
@@JTM1809 Exactly, if we compare Czech faces when presented with bronze medal, to Swede faces when presented with silver medals... OOF.
@@PiscotV I still remember last year. At least the Swedes got butchered by the Americans, and never had a chance. But we lost to the Canadians in Canada in overtime, after having beaten them 5-2 in pool stages. I was absolutely destroyed back then.
I'm cheerful today.
What a win!! Woah.
What a come back!
After the Olympics in Nagano in 1998, we fell asleep terribly in Czech hockey, yes, we won titles, but it was a dark time, maybe a better tomorrow awaits us, our boys are learning and the generation is growing up and gaining experience in the future for about 7 years, we will be a threat to everyone in ice hockey!!
What a finish
what a game!
WOW highlights longer than 3 minutes, never though that would happen. Finally got the clue TSN?
Well they still missed a goal😂
Never, never give up,
Wild game!
Back to back bronze medal games where the winner scored 8. That’s bananas
Мощный комбэк, парни с характером, поздравляю!!!👍
Chybí vám tam osmý gól 🤔🫣 Jinak super junioři ✌️🇨🇿🏒💪🙏
Im from czechia and i very love Finland🇨🇿❤️🇫🇮
Sapovaliv showed us all some world famous Slavic sportsmanship at the end of the match.
These Bronza Medal games always deliver. So much fun to watch.
8th goal for czechia is missing in this highlights? 🤔
Czechia! Wild heart!
And so the term Finnish finish was born 😂
Congrats for the win, well deserved, but I have to disagree here. The term was born in 2003 world championship quarter finals against Sweden. From 5-1 lead to 5-6 defeat. I remember watching it with my dad as a kid. It made me realize that with team Finland the game is never finished before the 60 minutes is over, not even if we had a 60 - 0 lead. :D
I am proud of our boys but damn, it's always that one game that you miss is the most epic :D
How do you make Full Highlights Video, missing the last goal?
Amen!
Dang. And I thought Team USA’s comeback yesterday was amazing lol 😂. Apparently Finland can’t hold a lead to save their lives.
