I've really enjoyed playing Intensity over the last couple of days. I like that every game feels different depending on your major draft(s). I've found Scotland to be a tough match-up. The number of fear cards is challenging to get through because of your limited card plays and puts a lot more restrictions on viable cards. I did enjoy a clinch final turn win Powerstorming Paralysing Fright though.
Loving your content and you motivated me trying harder difficulties and trying different spirits. I am looking at Shifting memory of Ages [Intensify] from the last videos and guide and something does not add up for me. I am pretty sure I am missing something. So here is the question: The Special Rule "NSIGHTS INTO THE WORLD'S NATURE" tells you that "Some of your Actions let you Prepare Element Markers, which are kept here until used". With [Intensify], you lose that special rules. My understanding is now that you are supposed to loose ALL element markers at the end of the turn. Based on the fact that is the only effect that is done by the special rule. But you're not losing those markers between turns. What am I missing and what allows you to keep those markers even without the special rule?
@@RedReVenge007 You're right. In the "Jagged Earth" rulebook, the only mention to element markers is "Two spirits and one scenario use them. Each one of it is using its special rule about it". Then, on the Shifting Memory of Ages Spirit, in the General rule, it is not specified that you keep nor lose it at the end of the turn. The only mention of "End of turn" is with the Special rule that you loose with the aspect. It sounds weird to me, but there are absolutely no mention anywhere of loosing those markers. So the impact of loosing the special rule is limiting the player to ONLY 1 marker per action instead of "As much as you want" from the base spirit. Thank you very much for the pointer! Have a good day!
@@RedReVenge007 Thank you very much! I posted my last message before reading that one. It is indeed way clearer with the detail in NI rule book. Thank you!
@@maximedevecchi5097 I had playtested the Spirit so I know the Devs intention of the design. But your comment made me worry that they may have missed clarification / oversight. Luckily, they said they added it to the rulebook.

I noticed Rei started uploading videos again! Yay!

At 16:50 Land 6 doesn't blight because of voice of command right? The explorers no longer damage the land.
That is correct. No blight is added!
At 12:20 I think you missed a wilds which could've gone in your land 4.

I believe it's covered underneath general Prepare rules.

at 17:10, why do you escalate the first russia bomb? It's in the build slot, so shouldn't that skip the escalation?
You still need to escalate. Since escalation occurs when the card is revealed and resolved.
