- we met our mate again and wanted to nest. well, many things happened in a very short amount of time and before we even got diet, I made a very stupid decision :/

There was a whole 10 seconds of the fight against omnis were your dibble was moving to the music perfectly in sync and I can’t stop laughing 😂

That was so cool how you sparred that other Dibble, and killed it without even taking any damage no hesitation to help someone who you thought was just unfairly killed
I ain't that huge revenge guy as you know, but, sometimes my emotions take over and in that moment I was pretty mad about that kill and to be totally honest, that yesss in chat multiplied it quite a lot ^^

I love when so many videos and internet posts pop up claiming how a feature totally ruins the game or a specific dino is OP (like this flavor of the month's Omni) and then every mouth breather jumps on thinking they'll own the server and get steamrolled by someone with actual experience and skill, aka Mombie.
honestly, I am so sick of it. I haven't subbed any of those drama queens channels and yet their videos pop up in my recommendations all the time. every third thumbnail tells me the game is totally broken. this or that is so OP, the whole balance of the game is in danger. freaking crybaby culture ^^
I really have to calm down about that, because it starts to drive me crazy

war wohl so ähnlich. wir werden uns sicher mal treffen und ich möchte auch wieder mal ein nesting event machen. aber zurzeit bin ich leider am totalen limit. hab keine zeit für irgendwas und kämpfe ehrlich gesagt mit den 3 videos pro woche

Aginst carnos and tenontos are the omnis op.
and yet they are onehit to a herra. don't get me wrong, omni might be too strong vs certain dinos like carno, but, in total it is far from being as OP as many people and thumbnails were trying to tell me

@@da.mombie Carnivores cant get the Tactical Endurance mutation theres a bug where deinos stam cost on lunge is alot less per tick

@6:20 most of those omnis were babies! The complaints arent about raptors bleed damage it was the grapple mombie! We were crying because grapple made the fights easy and boring
I don't know, honestly, I'm pretty frustrated about all the crying meanwhile. after almost each update some people call something OP or not viable anymore. omni was broken, then OP, then unplayable, then too strong again. in fact tho, the grapple doesn't effect much of the gameplay by now. I played quite some hours on the horde test and didn't get grappled once. I am desperately waiting for it, so that I can show it, but nothing. all omnis I met didn't stand much of a chance or didn't even try.
yes, it might effect certain battles. like carno vs omni? maybe? dunno. but, the many comments I got and the even more thumbnails that popped up, telling me how broken the whole game is, are nothing but ridiculous to me. it's a new mechanics. which for sure has to be adapted. but which also doesn't have THAT big impact in the game as a whole. at least I couldn't feel much of it by now. even if my carno gets pinned and destroyed by two omnis, I wouldn't care. because it doesn't happen on a regular base. it happens far too less to be as game breaking as I read so often.
it's a new feature in the early stage of it's development. it will be adapted to even more dinos later on. no need to go crazy about it. don't get me wrong, of course you can criticize it and have another opinion about it. but, the crybaby culture which often reaches hysterical heights I never witnessed at other games before, is something that drives me crazy meanwhile and so I have less and less sympathy for all the made up drama about every change.
I mean, if it would be the final version, then ok. I totally get it. but, we'll probably get another 50+ updates. each of them will change many stats. to think about all the upcoming drama is frightening from my point of view
@@da.mombie play as something that isnt 3+ tons lol. takes a lot of omni to grapple a dibble now with weight upped to 3ton. only takes 2 to grapple everything under the dibble weight if im not mistaken
@@IAmnesiaaI well, I played beipi, hypsi, carno, cera, galli, troodon and herra. all under 3 tons. not grappled once.
so, if we break it down to the significant ones, then we are talking about teno, carno, cera and maybe pachy. because the smaller like troodon, beipi and so on were pinned anyway. meanwhile dibble and stego don't have to worry either. so, we are talking about a new mechanics which may influence 3 and a half other dinos. I don't know, I may have another definition of OP, but, that's nothing which makes me hysterical and worry how broken the whole game is. like I said, I even played carno and cera and had no problem. I didn't even see omnis as carno. so, even if grapple is too strong vs carno or cera, then it doesn't mean you constantly die to them, other than you are looking for them.
it's a new feature which has and will be further adapted and no reason to go crazy or saying the whole game is broken. because it's not. most people couldn't care less. like every stego, deino, beipi or other main player who isn't one of the 3 and a half which are even affected. I really don't get why people go so mad after every change. as if it would be the final decision. we will have about 65 dinos. who cares in the end what stats dino 6 and 12 had during update 30? out of probably 100. the whole ecosystem will look very different in the end and yet people talk like any of those changes were decisive for the future of the game.
so again, I ain't say you can't criticize it or think that it has a huge impact between carno and omni or teno and omni. but, all these hysterical crying like it is a huge deal which may destroy the whole balance, is nonsense. it only affects a few. that's all and it's just one out of hundred stages of development on the long way to the final game. no drama

I'll recommend, if the migration changes, go straight to it, alot of food when you'er there first.
being first as dibble isn't that easy as I don't like to run much of my stam down in between
Sometimes need to wait a minute to see a person's response to a challenge. Maybe it was just the group mate that started it? We don't want to kill the innocent needlessly.

@@da.mombie You certainly gave proof to that hypothesis. But in my experience those Omnis hanging around North-West or Westtrail-Access tend to be more noob'ish.
The more nasty ones hang around Highlands and southern plains. (like nappn, nickboy and alucard). ;)
@@Chareidos of course a mate like nappn is on another level. but, such players are rare in this game. I have 2500 hours just in evrima and met nappn only once (beside an event). the others probably never. in total I may had 10 encounters with really good omni players. 10 within 2.500 hours and probably 100 encounters with omnis only.
90% of the omni players are average. even if 50% of them thinks they are on nappns level. but, they aren't. otherwise I would run into such players more regular
@@da.mombie exactly... I felt so sorry for omnis that I began to avoid them as a stego for their own good. And because of that I missed an opportunity to have an epic fight with that gang when I finally encountered them.

Side note the title and picture on this video is a bit unintentionally deceiving. I pictured a fight pit 1v1 sumo between two dibbles vs each other surrounded by deino filled water on all sides.

do you mean if it pounces another dibble? if so, then no. that isn't worth the risk. the chance that I hit me mate and do way more damage than the actual pounce is too big with my skill level

welcome to the isle and there are no obvious questions if you are a new player. feel free to ask whenever you have a question
the diablo is only on the horde test available right now. this is a test server for the next update which is actually available.
you can switch to the horde test in the steam settings. right click on the isle, choose properties, then betas and in the drop down menu at the top right, you can choose between none (legacy), spiro (old map), evrima and the horde test

@@Blackflippy thx ♥ wish you fun on the isle. it's pretty challenging and can also often be frustrating at the start. on the other hand, everything is new and fresh. so, enjoy the time while you explore everything and don't mind to die too much. surviving will become more easy with time and the game experience will shift from explorer to survivor at some point. no need to rush there, as both parts are entertaining in my opinion

i think they should change how fast your stamina drains when being grabbed by a croc. seems like if they hold you for 5 seconds with full bar of stamina it will drain in a very short time. seems broken
I would prefer a kind of bucking effect. so, if you hold E, then your AND the deinos stam drop faster.
@@da.mombie I agree, the animal being grabbed shouldn't lose a full bar of stamina in 5 seconds just from being held by a croc lol

doesn't make much sense to write "I just use sparring" if the other one started. so, I still very much believe that dibble killed me group mate on purpose.
