It’s the way you portray yourself. I’ve been let go so many times. They appreciate courtesy and honesty. It goes a long way with the street cops. But if you think you could be in real trouble, stop answering questions and ask to speak to a lawyer.
They can't charge him without video picture or eye witnesses. Even though they know it's him it's too difficult to prove so they let him know that will be watching him and know it's him

This was a polite exchange, statement of facts, and explanation of potential consequences. This was an officer questioning a subject reasonably. God job everybody.
Railroad police are no joking matter, my father worked for Southern Pacific RR for 50yrs, used to talk about how the RR police took great pride in teaching tresspassers how the most dangerous part about riding a freight train wasn't jumping on a moving train, but was being found on one or in the train yard. Said, it's amazing how many times a person could "fall down" while being escorted off the railroad's property.
@@dbphillips1978 What cameras? It isn't like the RR police operate on public property, so outside of live streaming the interaction with them on RR property, the footage and the camera/phone that it is on will likely never leave the property. RR police started out as private security force, the Pinkertons, 200yrs, and the only thing that has changed is that they now also have official police powers to investigate, cite, and arrest for crimes committed on RR property, with virtually no oversight.
That officer could have absolutely wrecked your day bro but he chose not too .... Big respect for this officer because you have to remember one little detail about the railroad police , they're federal like federal Marshal's and can get away with a lot more than regular police and he could have absolutely ruined your day and there would be absolutely nothing you could have done about it but he chose not to .... The railroad police have the biggest jurisdiction in the country. It’s only about 25 yards wide in most areas, but it’s longer than all hell! They do have federal powers due to their jurisdiction crossing so many state lines. That couldn’t have arrested that guy at that time because he was only going to be charged with a misdemeanor crime, I that officer didn’t witness the misdemeanor occurring, he can’t arrest. He can write a report for the DA to review and issue a warrant. If he’d personally witnessed the crime, he could have arrested the guy. Or if the guy had committed a felony, then if the cop had enough information reasonable articulable information to believe the guy had committed the felony not in his presence, he could have arrested him.
Yeah they're federal officers. I got chased by them on my 4wheeler while riding down the tracks. I stopped after crossing a creek to talk shit ( I was like 16) an thats when they informed me they weren't just local police, they were federal agents. Soon as I heard federal I started my 4wheeler back up an continued to haul ass home😂
