Spoiler! Red did a relatively good job firing consistently and being aggressive, but their shots just didn’t do enough damage. In fact, one of their shots ended up fixing a brick in the blue castle. Blue didn’t have consistent firing rate, but when they did, it was rapid-fire and did a lot of damage. They barely had any bricks fall out during the battle, while red had bricks flying towards the end.
The Marble copying appears to have a notable effect. Blue got really lucky with them, and it helps *everything.* They get more marbles through the initial blockage faster by pushing them further, they have more opportunities to prevent being dropped, they have more shots...but most importantly, having more marbles means more chances to *duplicate marbles* which creates a feedback loop.
