For the 8 question I saw an answer that used multiplication but it said "how do 8 8's add up to 1000" (key word add) so for addition the answer is 888+88+8+8+8 which equals 1000

I have told my friends & family that if I ever die in my sleep it would likely be due to a nightmare. I have woken up gasping & my heart racing so fast that I thought I might die.

My grandson has a very rare genetic disorder where he experiences a ton of digestive issues, in Jan. 2021, he in fact vomited his fecal matter. He developed intussusception which caused him to do that. And it doesn't look like poop either, but more like coffee grounds. Our local hospital did nothing for him for 3 days when he got rushed to another hospital 2 hours away, where he had perforated 3 parts of his small intestines and almost bled to death. The hospital that saved his life said he probably had less than 6 - 8 hours to live. I hate our Children's Hospital in my city. They are just awful.
Must have been frightening, for you & for him. Hope he is doing better now. Perforated bowel is very painful!

Thank you, both. It was absolutely horrifying because we were literally watching the life drain from him and those stupid Dr's at our local hospital were doing nothing for 3 days. I honestly believe it was my Mom, who had passed 3 months earlier, watched over him and caused this 1 hiccup that they were not equipped to deal with but yet he had never had an issue with before, I believe with all my heart she caused that so it forced him to go to this other hospital where they immediately diagnosed him & rushed him into surgery, saving his life. I hate our local hospitals, they're the worst money grabbers ever. Anyone will tell you but it's our only option for over 100 miles in any direction cause they bought up everything.

It happened to my grandmother. She was 98. Had old-timers and when they put her in the hospital they had to put a tube down her to drain it out. But it was too late and she passed away. That was in 1979.

They can, It has happened to our flock twice in the 8 years we raised chickens. An egg layer hen has changed into a rooster.

It's possible but it's a one time one way sex change. In other words Hens can become a Rooster but Roosters cannot become Hens. It happened to a Leghorn We had. We ran out of space for her and had to introduce her to the old adults in the coop early. They bullied her and causes enough stress that she became a he and among with the Buff Orpington ended up taking over the choop and becoming the best birds we ever had until they passed.

I died in one of my dreams a few years back.. didn’t wake up for a while but in the dream I was just dead.. funniest part is that the only part of it that was weird to me once I woke up was that it wasn’t a lucid dream.. I rarely have non-lucid dreams, and it’s even more rare for me to have a “nightmare”.. but my “nightmares” never scare me for some reason.. even when me or someone else dies.. the most recent one included me killing my mom.. and the last one before that was some sort of apocalypse (?).. before that was the one where I died (ironically it was my mom that killed me in that one).. and before that the last one I remember was a different sort of apocalypse 💀 I tried to say something about these weird dreams but they just said that they’re worried for my mental health.. and honestly so am I 😭
Not so fun fact during 9/11 the search dogs looking for survivors got so depressed no one survived that there human companions had to burry them self’s to make the doga happy that they found someone alive

As a man who lacks social skills and who prefers to be alone and at home, yeah I cannot relate to being more stressed and I don't get lonely honestly and I don't experience any types of mental health issues or even physical health issues. I've been a loner for several years, for long as I remember and I'm only 19 and I've never had any trouble from it. It doesn't bother me sitting in a room by myself. I've done it before and still do it. People- mainly my family whi cannot understand how I can be by myself for hours on end and walk out just fine. They see that I'm alone but in reality, I'm never really truly alone. My God is always with me and I trust Him. Even if I stand alone, He is with me and never will forsake me. God my Father promised me that I should not fear fot He is with me (Isaiah 41:10)

Its Impossible.
If we only use standard operations(+, ×, ÷, -) and parenthesis we cannot get 1000 with only using eights.
The closest we can get is:
8×8×(8+8)-8-8-8=
= 64×16-24=
= 1024-24 = 1000
This uses seven 8s.
We cannot +, ×, ÷, or - another eight, further simplify or rewrite it in a more helpfull way which means that its impossible for exactly eight 8s to be used for this.
But there is a way. If you consider using exponents, more specifically the power of two(²) you can rewrite the expression above as:
8²×(8+8)-8-8-8
This would give us 1000 with only six 8s so that then we can either add +8-8 or ×8÷8 to get 1000 with only eight 8s
Now this is the most proof I can come up with for now. But I'll try to disprove my original statement and post the results tomorrow
