For gaming 11R is good otherwise 21FE works just fine...even battery backup is more than enough because you cannot play even mildly heavy game on 21FE..So there are few areas where battery would be drained...above all update policy is excellent in Samsung...21FE has already got 5.1 UI update...

using S21 fe for a long time and used the oneplus 11R aswell one of my cousins has it and will be honest both of them are good but I will still prefer samsung over oneplus cause of the reliability and seriously speaking s21 is one of the best phones out there.

Anyway I am going for Samsung S21 FE. After using a Vivo for 4 years I can ensure you that A Samsung or any non-chinese brand can not go worse than these Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, Poco, Mi, Realme, etc. The worst software and degrading hardware is provided in these Chinese phone. They may look better and perform better at the beginning but that's not what you actually get. Even with Snapdragon processors they tend to hang/lag/freez. Not only this made me switch to A Samsung phone but also the buds. Definitely No more Chinese phones!!
S21FE is better in Front camera, videos and has 3x portrait lense advantage. UI is better n software updates are better. It's problem is Exynos chip n battery drain. Gcam doesn't well with Exynos SoCs. But 11R has powerful SoC n better Main Rear camera. Better battery, gaming etc. It's camera performance can definitely be elevated by using gcam. So IMO 11R is better if we get it at 35K with some discount and offers.

These modern phones takes very bright photos. Mostly looks unreal. Thats why I've disabled auto hdr in my s21 fe. Oneplus is even brighter and will look more unreal. S21 fe has its own advantages, it has flat screen and light compact body. Best UI and you can uninstall unwanted apps.

either you clearly dont know about the camera or may be its just your preference. One plus colors does not seems to be accurate and highlights are also not maintained properly. S21 FE keeps color and overall quality of the photo well balanced. Thats the difference between a mid range camera and a flagship level camera.
upto android 15 is guaranteed and maybe android 16 if samsung is giving. after that one more year of one ui updates will be given. So you are good for atleast 3 years from now
