😮 too parallel. Thank you for this video. I did a past life regression two years ago. One of my lives was a brothel. I’m not from Lexington Kentucky but I live here now I was a stripper for 20 years and I’ve been to one of the nightclubs that was a brothel of bells, today I was talking to a friend about my past life story, and as we were walking back to the car, he mentioned a building that I pointed at telling him I like that and he said yes that used to be madame Bell’s house. Which got me down this rabbit hole to this video and I am going to go see her grave. I have a lot more synchronicity but too much to type. Somehow she’s typed. My past life was my past life, or was my best friend who passed away her dog was named Bell. She loved Bell from beauty and the beast, and I had a daughter with a man way older than me who also has mental health disabilities. 😢❤ thank you thank you thank you for this video.

Belle married James Kenney when she was 3 months pregnant but they never lived together. Daisy Mae was taken care of by Belle's neighbor for a while. I believe her name was Mrs. Barnett. Belle paid her for her daughter's care. She later was cared for in Catholic hospitals in Cincinnati and Detroit which Belle also paid for. Nothing I have ever read says she wad given up for adoption.
On her tombstone is inscribed "Blessed be the pure in heart".

An interesting side to her and with a bit different circumstances she could have had a totally different life.

Belle established her first brothel in a town house located at what is now 304 North Upper Street in Lexington circa early 1880's. It is now used by Transylvania University as a field house for the adjacent athletic field. So you are correct. Without looking it up, I believe she used two town houses, one for the brothel, the other as her residence.
Occasionally new shrubs are planted and flowers are placed on the grave. It is alleged Belle's grave site is maintained by gay couple in Lexington. Back in the day it was common for families to disown their daughters who worked as prostitutes and had nowhere to be buried. Belle allowed some of them to be buried in the plot. They are unmarked.

Thanks for this. Just learned about Belle. You can read the book Madame Belle Brezing by Buddy Thompson. (Apparently Belle spelled her last name both ways at times)
Her story has fascinated me. Such a terrible childhood. She planned on being the most successful madam around and she was. Women hated her, the men loved her and the poor adored her. She gave back...... She was a strong lady, a good business woman and good hearted.
Her story is so sad, yet captivating. ❤️

She is certainly a complicated woman that is interesting to study. We all never know what we are capable of until we are out in certain situations.
