it depends, in florida for example i was able to do the test but you require to have the CDL A License so your hazmat endorsement doesnt expire in 30 days

After you pass the Hazmat written test,what's the next step? Do they apply it on your current CDL and how much?

After the written test, ask Motor Vehicles to add the endorsement to your license. It should cost the price of a new license, Jason.
