How long is the sole part supposed to be for different sizes?
As long as the foot you're knitting for. For English sizes, size 8 means 8 inches.

but you can turn the video-sound off yourself :) and then listen to music you like in the background. I think the algorythm shows videos more often if they have popular music, so maby you don't like the music but her video gets reccomended more oftn :)
I dislike this style of knitting, it looks uncomfortable and like you are struggling to keep the work on the needle..
