I’ve had this bad boy on two dives now and it was incredibly legible. Had it down to about 20M/60’ ish and as expected, no problems. Some glare, like every single diver except for the oil filled variety. Of course this was used in conjunction with a dive computer, but if the computer didn’t exist I wouldn’t hesitate to dive with this watch routinely.
When I bought this watch I had no idea it measured that large. I would have sworn wearing it that it was a 42.5 at best. It wears smaller than you’d think. Greatest bracelet on a watch I’ve had yet. If the bezel could be swapped out, this would hands down be my favorite watch. It’s slowly growing on me, I don’t hate it. I had buyers remorse for a day or two, but I find myself gravitating to wearing this more than I’d like to admit. Could just be the honeymoon phase. And yeah...that dial! Lots of depth, very appealing. If it were possible to oil fill the case and swap the bezel, oh man, that’d be sweet.
It is a cool watch... the angular design reminds of a large Seiko Monster. I really like the Pepsi 24hr chapter ring. Thank you for an excellent review :)
Love the bracelet and the sapphire crystal..the lume is good not seiko good but again does the job.no wiggle on the crown.definitly has a lot of wrist presence
Aaron Chell Glad you enjoyed the review! Feel free to use one of my links in the description to purchase this watch if you want! 😁 Hope you enjoy it once you get it!
The adjustment of the strap is really for divers. When you wear a wetsuit, the watch needs to me on the outside of the wetsuit. As you descend the suit compresses so the band needs to be tightened easily. Coming to the surface suit expands so the band needs to be released as easily.
Just picked this watch up today (06/30/22) at the Citizen Outlet Store in Orlando for $200. Whatever you think of this watch, you’d be crazy to pass it up at this price! BTW, I love it! The only downside for me is it is kind of heavy but definitely not a deal breaker!
SaleenDriver Thanks for stopping by sir! I appreciate the kind words, my channel is not exactly where I want it to be and I hope to keep improving. The unboxing video of the prize watch you sent me will come out soon!
.... Another great video pal! I've just ordered the very same one as yours on the strength of your videos. Trust me you've got the best colour out of the 3 its defo more classic looking! I like the details on the face ppl say it's too busy but even though there's alot going on the Big legible markers and hands make seeing the time clear as day even at night time! Haha. Keep up the good work again. And Stay Safe too!!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate your kind words, I hope to keep improving the quality of video/audio as time goes on. I’m glad everything is clear and understandable!
I reckon that the bezel and crown are ion plated 316L stainless steel. It's an ISO rated diver's watch. As for the bezel action, my Ecozilla also has a 60 clic bezel, which is jangly and bouncy. Yet I still like it. It's a tool watch made for a purpose.......diving! Greetings from London.
I love pretty much everything about this watch. The feeling you mention about the operation of the bezel may be because it is a sixty click bezel. That is my preference. They are much easier to get to line up exactly. I think Glidelock is a Rolex patented name.
Kevin Rodriguez Cool, thanks for that information! I hope you’ll subscribe if you’re not already! Once we reach 1000 subscribers we’ll be doing another watch giveaway! You won’t want to miss it!
@@Zeekism I really appreciate that! Glad to hear it! My goal is to make my videos helpful to as many people as possible! I hope you're subscribed, will be doing another watch giveaway at 1000 subs! Last time I gave away a black Promaster Tough.
Yes it is, perhaps I failed to show that in the video. I can't remember how it adjusts because I haven't had this watch in my possession for a while. Thanks for watching!
Kevin C You can move the GMT hand as you move the Hour hand. Also, I’m another crown position, you can move the Hour hand while the GMT hand is stationary.
I'd choose the BJ7110-89E myself, I think that model is a future classic and at $315 it's a steal. Yeah the bezel seems off a bit but the pip and marker are cool. Maybe if it was a bit lighter or SS and the clasp is a ratcheting diver's extension, fantastic design ad it appears the patent expired cause SWC is using that design.
brilliantradience Thanks for watching and commenting! That BJ7110-89E looks great! I hope you’ll subscribe if you’re not already! Once we reach 1000 subscribers we’ll be doing another watch giveaway! You won’t want to miss it!
Hi ! How do you manually set the gmt Hand to a different hour ? I cant seem to figure it out ? It’s a diver bezel and not your standard 2,4,6,8,10,12 hour bezel ..please help ...thank you
The watch is not in my possession currently but I should get it back after a few weeks. I believe there is a way to do it but I can't be sure. Maybe when I get it back I can play with it a little.
hey i just got this watch very new... just got it yesterday.. and the second hand as it moves its not that accurate.. what i mean is its not pointing on every lines.. instead its pointing between the lines..
Thanks for watching! Yeah, unfortunately that happens sometimes with any quartz watch. The second hand not hitting the marks. I'm not sure there is anything you can do to fix this.
I travel a lot for business. As I am traveling throughout Europe, it would be nice to have a solid GMT that I can easily change the time an hour or two either way. Solar would also be an added plus. Is this Citizen the one for me? Sadly, no. I don't care for the bezel, and the crown just looks cheap. As for the dial, just too crowded for my taste. I guess I'll just have to keep looking.
The bezel material and crown is a cast metal or pot metal if u will..the same metal guitar tuning pegs are made of..a cheap cast metal is ALL..but does the job and I just bought this watch just a little north of 400..i know I know..ouch
If anyone remembers HOTWHEELS the little toy cars u had as a kid.whatever metal those little cars are made of is the same metal that bezel and crown is made out of. Idk what it is. Maybe a cheap pot metal i think
thanks for showing the ticking. that's an immediate 'no buy' when the seconds hand doesn't hit the markers right on. some quartz will, including the $70 casio marlin, as well as it's big brother Oceanus diver. they hit right on. no need to get this kind of poor manufacture.
Thanks for watching. Yeah, I never like that either but I don't think it means everyone that they made of this model doesn't hit the markers, some might.
The watch has lots to offer. You totally missed showing the crown options for the various settings, this is part of what makes a review complete. In 14 minutes you had lots of time to accomplish this.

Great review man, that’s a pretty cool strap(almost perfectly executed). I like the Pepsi bezel, and the price is fair.

You're the best watch reviewer. Keep it up.
Thanks for watching, you're very kind . . . but I'm not sure your statement is accurate! :)
A little bit of hyperbole wont hurt. But I really find your reviews very helpful reason why I end up getting the regular promaster tough.

Yet again, another great review!
Thanks for watching!
I think the adjustable band is so you can put it over a dive suit.
You're right! Thanks for watching!
Great Video my brother....AAA++++good information Price is good as well.
God bless you!
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed!
Great review too man!
Thanks for watching!
Is the GMT adjustable?
Yes it is, perhaps I failed to show that in the video. I can't remember how it adjusts because I haven't had this watch in my possession for a while. Thanks for watching!
It’s a sexy watch my grandfather had a similar bezel face but it was Sieko , he had it for 40 years
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Really like that clasp
It is unique. Thanks for watching!
Great review. But I still like the one you have on you, the promaster tough. XD
NeVeReVeR Thanks for watching! So do I!
What about the movemen? Is the gmt hand set independently of is it a true gmt?
Kevin C I’ll have to check on that for you because I’m not 100% sure.
Kevin C You can move the GMT hand as you move the Hour hand. Also, I’m another crown position, you can move the Hour hand while the GMT hand is stationary.
how come your demo used shows marking with japan wording and numbers at 6 o'clock, in website none! any thoughts? thanks if replied.

Looks too much like every other submariner copy to me. Invicta (junk) cornered that market. The Pepsi dial makes this one stand out.

No one’s perfect.
The bezel completely throws off the look of the watch.
