1 - this was incredible to watch/listen to for so many reasons. 2 - I love how everyone is locked into the song even when improvising. many are so preoccupied with being different and squeezing in jazz and gospel riffs that the song basically becomes one a low-key solo between 3-5 instruments for most of the song. Lots of discipline, well-rehearsed, well executed, well done. 3 - and most importantly, it's beautiful to see when everyone is invested in the betterment of God. Musicians invested in their craft as not all of the equipment seen could be the church but we know they are invested in sound so these cats can communicate with each other effectively besides shouting. musicians invested in their craft and equipment to bring together this beautiful music to God. We've all seen those smaller churches that want you to be Ricky Draper or want the sound of a Tye Tribbett band while investing minimum wage in the music department.
