I’m currently reading Lords of Excess and i’ll admit whenever noise marines were in scene my head started to hurt a little due to me imagining such vivid noises that the noise marines would make just by existing
Fantastic video. Before I read some books on the emperor's children and fulgrim I thought they were so lame and vapid, but reading about them was very intriguing. Fulgrim was like a stand in for sanguinius to show how far the primarchs could fall. It was very emotional to see fulgrim snap out of it when he struck down his brother, only to falter for a moment and unknowingly allow slaanesh to corrupt him fully. There's a fantastic image someone made capturing this moment. It's Fratricide by dianaiiz
The fall of the EC is exactly why i love those bastards. I hate them deeply and dislike fulgrim but playing them and reading about them is such a beautiful depiction of the depravity of mankind.
Fabius biles novels are amazing! The noise marines in it are religious monks of slaanesh, whose dedication to the song makes them ostracized in a way (the other EC avoid them, and are actively uncomfortable in their presence). They avoid the more carnal pleasures the EC embody to focus on the song of slaanesh. They believe the eldar are cursed because they rejected slaanesh, and see slaanesh as a force of both good and evil. The normal EC have some cool archetypes as well. We even have an honorable warrior poet whose obsession is protecting and guarding his lady (who is herself a human follower of slaanesh who is favored enough to be equal to a marine in status.) The books EC are a great mix of characters, and show us a lot of ways slaanesh worship can develop. Also their is an awesome scene where a slaanesh warrior ( who represents the honor bound duelist archtype) speaks very politely as he fights and kills daemonettes. Its a great scene and the book does an amazing job showing us the psychology of slaaneshes followers without dehumanizing them. I prefer when chaos marines are characters rather then simple monsters, which alot of books tend to devolve them too. It was nice to get a look into how 40k EC think and feel, while getting so much details on how slaanesh can be interpreted by its followers. It reminds me alot of the death guard book "the lords of silence" in that regard
Eidolon isnt missing hes currently gathering most of the legion as written in the bile series where even lucius adheres to his commands. In the new lord of excess book is also references the fact that the legion are currently reuniting to gather strength.
Oh yeah I know about that, but I'm saying that while eidolon can create a sizeable force of EC, the only one that can truly focus the legion is fulgrim. Without him, the legion would still be the various backstabbing self interested warbands they are now. Thanks for watching I'm happy you enjoyed!
If Doomslayer was present he would be sure to give the Emperor's Children the verdict of absolute guilty and dealing with them personally as their executioner for their abhorrent lawlessness.
Hmm, the Emperor's Children are the most sadistic in the sense that they get off the most to the pain they cause buuuut....I would argue the Night Lord's are the ones that cause the most pain. Given their MO of torture, and that the Empror's Children are a spastic unfocused horde at the best of times, the Night Lords are the Legion that is less desired to get captured by.
Have there been any stories of the Dark Eldar fighting the Emperor's Children? I am aware there was one event with a Dark Eldar Kabal led by a Homcunculi hunted down a Night Lords Warband for ambushing them and nearly killing their Homcunculi and embarrassing their Kabal. The event was called the Wystengradi Raid. Other then that no other detailed storylines. I have yet to hear a incursion between the Drukhari and the Emperor's Children happening.
🟣 Circle of Avidity is a hell of gold, Circle of Gluttony is a hell of blood, Circle of Carnality is a hell of sand, Circle of Supremacy (Paramountcy) is a hell of ash, Circle of Vanity (Vainglory) is a hell of water, Circle of Indolency is a hell of snow. Golden snake pearls/eggs. The Coral Forest of Vanity. Because Slaanesh is nature in water (example the sea forests of the Laer). Coral with spikes and seaweed with spines. Serpents and Crocodiles in Supremacy, Horses and Hippocampi in Vanity, Pegasi and Dragons in Indolency. Fulgrim and Emperor's Children become Horses, Konrad Curze and Night Lords become Dragons, Alpharius/Omegon and Alpha Legion become Crocodiles. Bodies of dark stone, the dark Ice Moon of Slaanesh!
I wonder what would've happened and the Emperor's reaction if a time warp opened and their future corrupted chaos legions appeared during the peak of the Emperor's crusade. Seeing their future fate and having to fight themselves in such a putrid way. Most interestingly the Emperor of course. Seeing what his ambitions will fall to.
What do you make of the band of Emperor's Children who bowed to the Fulgrim clone who had parts of the original Fulgrim's soul in it, and followed his orders? Does indicate that they aren't utterly irredeemable, which is odd, considering how horrendous they are.
It's the natural response most Marines have to their primarch if they are loyal to him. Loken has similar urges for hours despite not being a traitor and such so there is a precedent for this stuff! Thanks for watching!
They weren't EC I don't think but I was reading a book (can't remember the name sorry) and this one Slaanesh space marine was getting aroused each time they were hurt during a fight. Slaanesh followers are something else man
I spent 3 weeks trying to come up with a concept for EMC successor chapter that held as closely to the noble virtues of the 3rd legion while not being too obvious aesthetically. I unintentionally descended down a perfection spiral like Fulgrim trying to get it right the name the chapter color scheme even its emblem coming up with something original but also fitting into 40k I was getting nowhere. Unlike Fulgrim I realized my limitations and stoped the project before I fell down a similar rabbit hole that lead the emperors children to slannesh all my work remains on my files incomplete and flawed and that’s where it will remain that’s the danger of seeking protection find a happy happy medium and move on. Ironically what Also what made my work for not is that I learned that the sons of the phoenix exists which for-filled all my parameters I was seeking to create in the first place, name color scheme emblem and chapter mentality was what I was looking Corbin the first palace but couldn’t bring it to conclusion I wonder of the GW creative who made them went through something similar
This video has me convinced that slaanesh is the scariest chaos god. That thing embodies chaos more than the other gods combined. I'd take my chances with fucking nurgle over slaanesh.
The reason you don't see the Emperor's Children very often in media is because they're simply not palatable. They are the only traitor legion that actively engages in gang Rape and are notorious for that fact. People had a fit over how graphic the Goblin Slayer anime was, can you imagine these guys?
The daemonculaba while disgusting, is functional. The emperors children would do that for fun regardless of wether or not it was useful. Thanks for watching!
I see what your saying, but the extreme they take some things too can be considered sadism. I mean, that performance got wonky at points lmao. Thanks for watching!
The name changes depending on who is referring to slaanesh. The eldar say she who thirsts, those who worship slaanesh called it the prince. Prince in this case is being used as a gender neutral term according to lords of excess. Also, yes no question about that. Love the templar's but the EC have them beat on that front. Thanks for watching!
@@unclesamlore Yes, she is referred to as a Prince as a reference to both her hermaphroditic and androgynous ways. It's still "She who thirsts" tho, no prince who thirsts :)
Thanks for watching! Please subscribe so that way Lucius can be pretty again 😢
When even the Dark Eldar think your antics are a bit much, it might be time to calm tf down a bit.
JUST A BIT. Thanks for watching!
Good job finding some genuinely disturbing pictures of Big E's bastards. I haven't seen those before.

Sending my hopes and prayers that Lucius will step on a mine again and never come back.
HA JOKES ON YOU, HE IS NOW IN YOUR BRAIN
NOOOOOOOOOO
Canonically he stepped on a mine and died - only to reincarnate inside the factory worker that made it. Make what you will of that.
@@capkovodna Have him killed by a mine created by a machine whose inventor/creator is already dead.
Slaanesh revives him the old fashion way just like how Khorne and Nurgle did with Kharn and Typhus

If Doomslayer entered the 40k universe, the emperor's children and the word bearers would absolutely be the first ones on his hit list.
Hmm, the Emperor's Children are the most sadistic in the sense that they get off the most to the pain they cause buuuut....I would argue the Night Lord's are the ones that cause the most pain. I would say both are violent, but the emperors children derive more pleasure from it. That makes it so much scarier to me. Thanks for watching!
