Thanks for the zoo video, i Love Riverbanks Zoo i took my kids often when they were little. My Daughter and her family lived in Columbia. I loved going down and taking my Grandkids to the Zoo. Maybe sometime you and your Mom can visit Greenville Zoo y'all would like it. My Daughter and her family moved to Canada this Summer. I hope to go soon to visit. Your video makes me think of them. Love from Clinton SC
We have been to the Greenville Zoo one time a few years ago. We enjoyed our visit. I wasn’t making videos at that time, so all I have from that visit is pictures and memories.
The blue/white ice crystal sculptures were beautiful and I guess they arent year around....also loved all the other animal sculptures and information plaques ...especially the pink flamingos wow....Hopefully those will stay year around. Having those as an information and entertainment is much better I think than trying to capture and pen up and feed wild animals. And there are no feed or vet bills...LOL Your Mom is getting around really well with that rollater...It is good for her to get out and good you will go with her.
They are only up for the holiday season. I believe they started before Thanksgiving and are staying up until after the new year. I believe the Jacksonville Zoo has something very similar to this at their zoo. Mom is getting better. She’ll soon be done with therapy.
How beautiful! I haven’t been to Riverbanks Zoo since I was a kid. Thank you for recording and sharing so we could be able to see these amazing works of art! Hopefully me and mine will be able to make it there one day!
I don’t go as often as I used to. I went when I was five on a field trip, and didn’t go again until I was a teenager. I fell in love with it, and go a few times a year. I used to go once or twice a month, but then I branched out and started visiting other places. Hopefully y’all can make it soon. They are building a new section near the river now. It looks impressive from the “vision” they have shared online.
I have enjoyed the branching out too. It’s amazing to see all the places in person. Sometimes I’m one and done, and other times I find places that I love and visit again.
