I didn't know that I can use a dungeon scroll here.. Imma try it later tho I had a trauma with avalonian roads. Anyway, thanks for the info.
You can only use them in the Avalonian Rests but it is interesting if you get one from a solo dungeon in there you can use it right away if you choose! Never really have only done it personally a couple of times.

Travelling through the roads is so confusing. I genuinely don't know how people do transports with them.

It isn't consistent but still safer than outlands transport.
It is Confusing at first! The more you run them though the easier it gets!!

It involves a lot of scouting ( basically naked on a horse )
I only use the roads when transporting from outland rest zones to royals as it can be much safer and quicker if you are patient.
My method: Have the rest set as home: so you can scout from their, and check all surrounding zones around the rest and find as short of a route as possible to a royals zone. Sometimes you get lucky and find a direct path right away

I have no personally played Eve to the point of using Wormholes but I hear this comparison very often! 😁
If I understand correctly, solo dungeons in the avalonian roads are more profitable than solo dungeons in the black zone right?
It seems like AO copied gameplay from Eve Online in many cases.
These roads and connections from random portals reminds me of EO wormholes, except you can't get trapped in AO like EO without scanning skills and equipment.
I have heard this take many times, they do have similar features for sure!🥸
is there a way to specifically run these safely or are they 100% a risk everytime? also, what item level would you recommend to hit before starting to run roads?
They are a “Black Zone Full loot Pvp/Pve zone” so the risk is always there for sure! For item level to run the roads 1000-1100 Item power is a good starting point!😁

As a fisherman I've only ever been killed once in 50+ hours spent fishing in the roads. That one gank was me running into a 5 players gank with a bear hoping that I'd make it through... I didn't, and learnt from that mistake. Long story short, be smart about it. Fast mount, travel away from the main roads if you're close to a popular exit, use monsters to your advantage as they almost always throw an AoE that can slow down your pursuers if you get chased. The deeper you go the safer you are.

@@skully8692 No problem! I think gathering in red zone is suicide, black zone is mostly fine if you're not in a hotspot. Everybody knows the fishing hotspots, that's why I moved to the roads.
There are different zone in avalon roads, is it the same on the outside? Blue and yellow is not lethal?
Ava Roads are considered all Black Zone! So all lethal content!😁
And if we die in blue and yellow Avalon can't drop our Items??
Uhm so if I and my friend enter into a 2 people Avalon road nobody else can enter and worry us? That's true? It's totally safe?
The 2 charges will be gone for 5 minutes, after those 5 minutes are up other people can use the portal. I will also never say a Black Zone area is safe as it is full loot pvp and I can not predict if you will see players or not.
The whole black zone and red zone concepts scare the fk out of me.. I'll just stick to building my farms. 😅

Someone asked me to do the road to ablion with him. He said we were looking for a chest or something. I went down there unaware I can lose everything and a group of guys came at us. They killed the guy who asked me to come down but I ran away and exited with a second to spare.. Quick question do you think that guy set me up to get ganged? His gear was a lil lower than mine. The pvp guys stunned him and target him rather than me. I had 750k armor on he had like 250k armor on lol
We seen one guy and kinda ran around and then another guy. Then about 6 guys out of nowhere all at once. I feel like he was luring people down there especially because he said it was the first time he got ganked. Didn't sound true. Why would he be comfortable in a black zone and never have been ganked yet
All I can say is 3 things
1. NEVER trust anyone in the Black Zone EVER
2. He might of been a new player of the cocky variety and "thinks" he is comfortable in the Black zone because he thinks he is invincible or something OR likes that part of the game and doesn't care if he dies! A lot of friends that first played the game with me would walk out there like it was nothing even though they didn't have a cent to their name...
3. He could have easily been a lure that tries to bring in players that are wearing more valuable armor like you were wearing and then let his friends know you took the bait(even though they killed him which is weird) but luring like this happens all the time in these kinds of games so you need to be very careful who you trust if they are not in your guild or you have never seen them before!

@@ProfessorScythe Thanks for the insight. I feel like he lured me because the way we ran up to the first person. Good think I had hunting boots on. I hit f and ran for my gear value lol. I luckily was right next to a portal out. Safe to say imma find a group before I mess down there again.
Where's the yellow (20) portal today?
They are in the Avalonian Rests now and are considered "Raid" Portals for Guild Chest Content!

The only thing i hate about roads is spending 30 minutes finding the map your looking for 😂 like T7 or T8 for fishing or gathering. Especially with all the gsnk groups of 3-10 people. Who will chase you down even with 50k gear

You are wrong recalling while in the roads. Its worth it in most scenarios. The cost back will never be worth more than your set. If you're getting pressed, its a cheaper to portal back at a loss than it is getting ganked and losing your set. Depends on your level of risk and confidence in your abilities but If I'm pressed I will take it. The best bet is to get to a black zone. Will still be pricy but usually half cost in my experience
I do not understand how I am wrong... You just restated what I said. Check out 6:40 in the video!
On that note, I completely agree that you should use journey back if you are being threatened with a gank or enemy players in the area and you have no way to get out! I would rather pay the price than loss EVERYTHING!
But... You should never use journey back in the roads if you are not in danger, just pop out and save a huge chunk of the profit and journey back from a Royal or BZ Zone!

@@ProfessorScythe i am a honest believer in R back from ava. 1.gankers camp portals. 2.ava roads are sort of like a maze. 3. In ava you usually get ~200k/chest in dungeons or green chests. So R saves you the risk of getting ganked and losing proffit+set, just for 20k.
Overall if i come out of a dungeon or chest with 500k I R back home, doesnt matter how far away i am. Never payed more than 40k

As this channels main goal is to learn and improve! I will use this pinned comment to add anything I missed that can make the relevant content of this video more convenient when you choose to partake in this activity in Albion Online!
1. I stated in the video that all Green and Blue Chests are the same Tier once you see one of them you know the others...THIS IS INCORRECT!!! The Chests in any zone are random tiers that are locked to that tier in that road(for example if one Green or Blue Chest is T6 and another is T8, they will always be that tier of chest on that specific road)
Great guide though this symbol system is aids. For yellow,blue,red,black zones they shouold just use the f'n color, for the tiers of nodes just do 4,5,6,7 etc. Overly complicated idiocy.
Oh it is very complicated for sure!(I think they do it on purpose!) But this video as crazy as it sounds, only scratches the surface of how in depth the understanding can go for the avalonian roads! There is ALOT to learn that will come in future videos!🥶
