Hi Alan, A month ago, I needed an upgrade to my Charge 3 and had a few bucks to spare. After little to no research, I went ahead with Sony xb43 since I already own their 1000xm4 and love it's sound. I ordered the xb43, super excited, and was ecstatic for the first few days, seldomly bringing down the volumes. Everyone in my family was tapping away with the bass. When it was with me for a little peace, I noticed something missing from the music. I googled, tweaked the EQ, googled again, tweaked again, but low volumes loved their bass, antagonizing me. While looking across the EQ settings and the different speakers on YT, I came across your channel. I watched a few of your videos and liked your style of review. After watching a few of your many videos I noticed your infatuation with the Anker Soundcore Motion+ and thought that must be the old you, since these were 2 years old speakers. JBL and Sony must have had improved their line ups to have had beaten Anker in what's their forte. But that was not the case, you were still crazy over the Motion+, even a few months ago. I wondered if the Motion+ will be able to fill the void created by xb43, and summoned up the courage to order the Motion+. It has been a few days and the void is almost filled to its brink. I can not thank you enough to help me, and I hope many others like me, to be in the same room with this masterpiece. I am writing this thank you note to you while listening to Hotel California on the Motion+, and I can not stop writing because I am happy. And all thanks to you, and Anker of course. But this has already got ridiculously lengthy, I want to thank you and appreciate the honest work you are doing for us. Cheers and Keep Safe.

If you place the Charge 5 in a corner of a room the bass and the highs feels in your chest I think the Charge 5 is better than the Motion+ and Sony
I had both. I’ve tested both in personal. I used EQ perfect in motion plus.. and also used EQ 1 bass up, mids normal, treble normal in jbl. Overall i prefer charge 5 becoz bass punch is nice and music sound’s better and clear. Somtimes motion plus sound’s good, becoz of stereo. But bass is not good enough.
I got mine last week, it was a bit shy at first but it opened up nicely after a few hours. thanks for the eq tips. lowering the 150hz and upping the 65 did the trick. will be following your custom eq experimentations in future reviews. thanks!

The orange glow also provides unbelievable detail, as sound is proven to travel better through orange plastic. The exclamation mark on the left enhances bass, as it acts as a waveguide for the woofer on the right. The "L" on the right, using the same, sophisticated BS tech, act as a waveguide for the tweeter on the left with controlled dispersion on the other side of the speaker, and adapts to your listening environment. The B in the middle enhances battery life by increasing the efficiency of the plastic enclosure, and also acts as a backup battery that can generate power when ocean tides hit it. The bold, new stand consisting of lines also acts as a a URS (Useless Radiator System), providing more detail allowing the speaker to extend all the way to 80khz. The new design and logo is really an improvement I have no idea what I just wrote. Chalk it up to boredom I guess.

@@alanrossreviews we need motion plus + motion boom= motion plus plus boom. That's also mean 160USD speaker.. or lesser with the version that is so ideal.
Hi Alan, I am debating whether to buy a soundcore motion plus, or a jbl charge 5. I intent to use it to listen to music at around 40-60% volume, watch movies and some gaming. The price is almost the same here in Greece so that's not a limiting factor for the jbl. The main gripe I have is the charge being mono. I have read both sides of the argument, one saying that you can't actually hear stereo in such a small housing unless you are directly in front of the speaker. The other one implies that down mixing to mono eliminates some details of the track, especially on songs produced 70s-90s where stereo became popular and mono mixing wasn't taken into account. PS I had a motion boom, I liked it but I would now want something a little more compact and more detailed in it's sound.
Mono sounds different to stereo because you lose elements of the mix. Whether this matters depends in your ears. Of course stereo is lost if you move on axis, no surprise there but you still keep elements lost on mono. Mono mix will be more bass heavy than the stereo mix. Both c5 and m+ can do a job. C5 more travel friendly. Also consider stockwell 2.
When compared with the charge 5 the motion plus is better overall especially with an eq and I have used it for movies and it did it extremely well actually as I do have the flip 6 and it sounds awful when listening to movies and or tv shows as I do use my motion plus as computer speaker at the moment and it works great as the motion plus also have great battery life as I took it to the beach recently and it lasted about 6 to 6.5 hours between 90% to max volume with my custom eq which is quiet a while, also the speaker sounds great outdoors with the sound traveling pretty far away, as for the charge 5 it isn't as good as the motion plus but I will say the charge 5 is a great speaker as it is more durable and it is able to connect with other jbl speakers as jbl in my country is pretty damn popular also the jbl charge 5 allows for it to charge your devices.
Thanks Alan , you certainly know your stuff. Based on your review , I bought a Motion + on Monday , was exactly what I was looking for , so bought a second one the next day.
If the other 2 speakers were same price with the charge 5 trust me most of us will definitely go for the charge 5 take note that the jbl charge 5 is a mono speaker competing with stereo custom speakers so the charge 5 won that’s my opinion
I had the xb33 but didn’t like the artificial sounding bass. It sounds weird to me. I returned it and got my first rave neo. A much better sounding speaker. Especially if you have more than one. The stereo mode brings out dynamics that can’t be heard in mono as you know. The motion boom will probably be my next purchase.
Great video. My Motion+ has been collecting dust ever since I got the Motion Boom and Soundcore 3. Motion Boom is my go to for bass and the Soundcore 3 sounds very well defined in the mids and highs for me.
I heard the Sony XB-33 in person recently. It sounds ok but a bit boring. I am always impressed at what Soundcore gives for the price, even Tribit is good value. I am a JBL fan but man these prices are a killer 😞. They sound good but I honestly think you're just paying for the brand 😅
Great analysis. I could really see the differences you were referring to. I own the Motion plus and have been very satisfied using it outside around the pool have not been disappointed with the volume or quality of sound. If you are on a budget the Motion is a solid choice.
I'm actually surprised myself by how keen i am on the C5's sound. Those highs really bring to the table what my C4 lacks, However... The Xtreme 3 is THREE QUID more! It's bulky, but i see no reason to go for the mono C5 with that around...
sure its size that should be the deciding factor, if you can go with the bigger than the x3 will outperform the c5 but most of us would get the motion boom anyway. ☺
Pretty much the result I was expecting. Motion plus doesn't have as much deep bass as the charge 5 but more clarity and just 1 can go significantly louder (but you can buy two of the plus depending on pricing for the same as one charge 5 and the story gets worse for the 5). Do you have a eulogy prepared for when you compare it to the boom? I will give JBL credit for at least making forward progress but they just don't competitively price some of their products. As long as you're happy with what you get it doesn't matter but, as your comparisons are proving, there are better options for the money. Outstanding review, Alan!
yeah the boom will be convicted of murder but to be fair, bigger speaker bigger drivers we know what to expect. its the price as usual thats the issue with jbl.
No, it's not a fair fight but it will be entertaining to watch. To me, it's the reverse of what should logically be expected comparing the two by price but I'm not complaining at all.
fantastic video as always, you really are one of the best if not the best reviewer in this sector. Btw I have a question: if you connect the Charge 5 to the mains, with a powerful brick, does it get louder?
Awesome rewiev. Must say the Jbl takes this, the deep bass is superior and sounds nice and clear. It loses bass at Max volume, but that is just the price you have to pay for deep bass. And by far it looks the best, that Sony is just butt ugly. Motion pluss sounds good but it needs more bass, hopefully it gets an upgrade soon.
in your opinion, from the sound, which one is better between 2 (tws) motion+ and 1 JBL Charge 5 ? ... because in terms of price, 2 Motion+ = 1 Charge 5.
Soundcore Motion + I tend to mention I don't recommend It every time I can.. I bought It from Amazon 2021 summer and returned It after 1 day testing. I didn't keep the JBL Charge 4 either. The JBL sounds boomy and crushes the music. The Anker gavr me tinnitus after 10minutes, from the attrocious tweeters that screeched out the music. I tried EQ It around 4kHz-7kHz but to no avail, still gavr a ringing sensation in my ears..
Alan. Nice one once again. Now then I have two charge 4 . One new at £110. One mint used £55 and a couple of Flip Essential, ( small but good ) So what's your views between the charge 4 and the newer charge 5 ? I don't mind the mono sound. If I want stereo and quality sounds I just use my grado headphones.
@@alanrossreviews Out of the three which would have the richest sound along with respectable bass at that sound volume. A speaker that would sound great and crisp in your room/lounge whilst being decent in a lawn/garden
Excellent videos! Could you please advice: currently I find the charge 5 in my country selling for almost the same prize as the Sony xb43. Which should you recommend? Thanks!
Yea I really do dislike this paying for the brand crap especially when the brand gets a bit cocky and lacking! I live JBL partly because of there design asthetic compared to other brands! Believe me I already know not to pay full price hell I've avoided paying full price for a lot of speakers I payed 209 for my Xtreme 2 when it came out and I payed 374 instead of 500 for the boom Box 2 don't ask me how lol. The party Box is definitely worth the full price but I paid it Through financing for 8 months no interest either, And I refuse to pay 350 for the extreme 3 and definitely not 250 for the pulse 4 Like literally both speakers have an awesome new design aesthetic but some sort of compromise to their main function their sound. Although definitely charge 5 seems like it's a definite promise upgraded sound, and one main thing with JBL that has been an issue since the extreme one came out is there batteries they want to charge so much yet they use crappy batteries in their product, be luckytoget 2 years problem free you're better off hoping your lunch unit battery rears its ugly head within the first year of owning it so you can take advantage of the free Exchange! I definitely love the new design ill pay 180 through Klarna 4 time payments rather than all at once! It's literally the only speaker I pay full price for no matter what because it's my favourite Speaker line I have the other four- cant wait to own number 5!
I have a DINDIN bluetooth speaker, I really like the sound quality, the lighting, it makes me happy every time I use it, I have had it for a year, and this product deserves more love.
Alan, I know it is off topic here, but would you mind try out your Soundcore Boost with Windows 10 for me? With the 20H2 version I find that when I try to adjust the volume under Windows, nothing happens, but when I do the same on the speaker, everything is OK, the sliders also move on the screen (absolut volume works). Can you confirm this?
@@alanrossreviews Thank you so much Alan! I'm almost sure it's a firmware error. I’ve never come across such that the absolute volume would only work in one direction. It works or it doesn't. I initiated a support ticket for this, and so far I might think so that I have a faulty unit, but your answer confirmed that it is probably a type fault. Do you have direct contact to Anker / Soundcore? Maybe you could report this error to them also.
I really enjoy your breakdowns and I feel like I can trust your advice more than some other reviewers. I think the only other thing I'd like to see is if you could use a few different genres of music in your tests. But that's just me. I'm more of a rock fan and I know the JBL is more suited for rap/hip hop/pop. But it sounds like it still may be the best one for me since I rarely listen to my music at full volume. Usually low to medium volume. And now the price of the JBL has come down significantly as opposed to the motion plus. Also I like the dust proof on the JBL if I wanna take it to the beach or something. So all that being said, which speaker should I get between the Charge 5 for $130 or the Motion plus for $100?
Thanks for the video! I was looking and reading the whole day about all the speakers, because I was not sure if I want to pay the price for JBL or if the Motion Plus would just do fine for me... But since you say the JBL will performe best in low to mid volume (and thats where i will use my Speaker most of the time at) I'll go for the JBL now. Maybe there will be a good Black Friday deal soon. :)
Hi Alan! Does Motion boom is much bigger than jbl charge 5? Without this ugly handle it can be compared with much smaller speaker and it has big chance to be better. I hope anker will make motion pro (motion boom without handle with tweeters), it would be amazing. Jbl should think about eq in their app
yeah the boom is much bigger, i will do a video soon comparing them. pretty sure jbl dont want anyone messing with their eq otherwise why not have it already?
The handle on the boom have grown on me, and I found it very usefull, I can now cary the two boom I got in omr hand with ease, and a sixpac in the other, only speaker that is easyer is Xtreme with the shoulder strap, but that just looks stupid if you strap two og them to your body and walking around.
@@alanrossreviews Eq and presets would avoid any service problems they currently have. Children turn on the service mode, which theoretically gives a little bass, but is therefore uncontrolled and causes rupture of passive membranes. The second issue may convince the more demanding users. Probably many anker's clients use their presets and not set the EQ themselves. In general, I consider the anker's stylistics to be very successful, serious and elegant, jbl and sony looks like a motley toy that is supposed to attract the attention of children rather than the wider audience.
If I have my first 2 bass sliders up, my motion plus dies within 3-4 hours for sure, depending on volume. Bring them down to normal & listen at moderate to high volumes, and it plays for 12h. Wierd isn't it?
Hy men, i like youre reviews, but this is very clear, the sound for soundcore is good, but i like much more the jbl. Yes at high volumes the bass goes down, but the distorsion is much lower than the motion plus and the sound is broken, clogged sound. The price, here is a litle be debatable, because i found the charge 5 (new and sealed box) at 90 pounds not 160. And thats the real price, the motion plus is about 80 pounds in my country and the xb 33 is about 90 punds the same with charge 5. Keep up the good work, very informative the review, so good luck and im waiting for another one!
Yes price makes a huge difference when making judgement. At the same price its simply taste and any will do you. Personally i prefer c5 for lower volumes and motion plus for higher volumes but over both i would take the motion boom
Hi Mr. Alan, some have said in your comments that Mr. Oluv prefers XB33... But after I searched his post, I didn't find him having XB33 🤷♂️... When did he say that ?
quite often, even his last video i think compares xb33 to flex. but he puts most of this stuff on his patreon not youtube. personally i find the xb33 sounds a bot covered.
@@alanrossreviews Motion Plus! Best volume to size ratio, and includes an AUX port to I can use them for studio recording due to its flat EQ settings. Boom would be better if I didn't use the Aux, would listen at above bedroom levels, and not carry it around often.
Hi Alan. I'm still thinking you should change the 150 slider in Anker to -4. Then he can play really nice deep bass. Plus on my mobile EQ I even push little more bass on top of max bass on the Anker app.
@@alanrossreviews I have 80 to max, 150 -4, 300 -2. It may appear first like it lacks of impact but it actually can reproduce a deeper bass. Plus on my phone EQ I push just one slider, 60 Hz to plus 2. The upper bass makes him sound hollow. And my settings starts to distort about 85% volume.
Thanks for this Alan :) Was very interested in seeing the bass comparison between the Sony and JBL, I am one of those around 40% volume listeners, all day long ;)
@@alanrossreviews It is not. Not my type of sound, and certainly way too overpriced. I am after something smaller with some low rumble, but ofcourse the pickings are slim. If boom wasn't so ugly, I would have already ordered ;)
the plus is more balanced but its the depth of the bass on the boom that makes it we what it is, you will hear instruments totally missing on other speakers at around the 40hz mark
But motion plus so distortion bass if set Equalizer , charge 5 full vo. No distortion.. bass and clarity Jbl win. Unfair battle. Charge 5 off Eq. But its just nice review 👏👍
Hi Alan, I'm a recent follower and I love your reviews and comparisons. I want a speaker for a very weird use-case: I want to have a bluetooth speaker that I can alternate between an everyday tabletop speaker for my desktop computer, a soundbar for my bedroom TV and a general around-the-house party speaker. I was looking at the Soundcore Motion+, but I'm willing to go to around 200 bucks in price if I can get something that is much better (but preferably not much larger). What would you recommend?
@@alanrossreviews my idea was to connect to the desktop using AUX and to the TV using Bluetooth, I don’t think I’d be using the TV for a lot of latency-sensitive content, and the delay compensation seems to work well for movies and videos.
@@alanrossreviews my only reservation with the motion boom plus is the design, that doesn't look good on a computer desk or in front of my TV haha. Would you say it's that much better than the Motion+ for general sound that it would make it worth it? EDIT: Apparently also not available here in Brazil :(
You present great videos you got me wanting the ANKER SOUNDCORE MOTION PLUS. I HAVE THE OTHER 2 speakers the JBL really goes low great sound to my ears I prefer the xb31 over the xb33.
Great review. All are great speakers. Motion + is the most balanced speaker, very open sounding with lot of details. And given the price it is the winner. Plus the ability to adjust the sound picture. Listening at home I definitely don´t miss any low bass tones on Motion + .
The charge 5 seems to opening up for more use. U thought it was crap out of the box but im getting to like how it plays at low to moderate volumes. Yeah the headroom on the m+ wins the day for party volumes.
@@alanrossreviews yea, that indeed was a positive surprise. For me though just the knowledge that it is a mono speaker keeps me from purchasing ........
So ... at the end of the day cost matters ... so you should really compare a pair of Soundcore Motion+ (since it's 50% the price of the JBL so you get 2 speakers for the same JBL price) ... This is not even a fight.
Hi Alan, once again congrats, excellent work (very detailed and enlightening), I have one question: I'm able to get the B&O P6 for approximately 200€ which is slightly more than a Charge 5, how do you compare them? Is it worthy? Bring also the Tronsmart Mega Pro (Very popular speaker due to his power price ratio). Regards 💪🏻
I’ve heard that the newer SONY speakers modify the bass so that it’s a few hz higher so they can “technically” play lower. Motion+ still beats them considering that it’s 80 euros though lol.
Yes most of these type of speakers do these tricks. Plays say the 40 hz notes at 70 hz for example. Also playing the harmonics without the actual fundamental note will fool your ears into thinking its hearing lower bass than is actually being played.

Great video. My Motion+ has been collecting dust ever since I got the Motion Boom and Soundcore 3. Motion Boom is my go to for bass and the Soundcore 3 sounds very well defined in the mids and highs for me.
Yup the boom is pretty much making the m+ obsolete 🙄
Really soundcore 3 better than m+ bro?
@@adiguna665 In my personal preference, yes. You might feel differently.
I heard the Sony XB-33 in person recently. It sounds ok but a bit boring. I am always impressed at what Soundcore gives for the price, even Tribit is good value. I am a JBL fan but man these prices are a killer 😞. They sound good but I honestly think you're just paying for the brand 😅
for sure you pay for the brand 👍 but lots of big brands like that....sadly its how the market works 🤐
Great analysis. I could really see the differences you were referring to. I own the Motion plus and have been very satisfied using it outside around the pool have not been disappointed with the volume or quality of sound. If you are on a budget the Motion is a solid choice.
Yup soundcore are king right now for vfm 😎
Has a limiter soo no
Non of these speakers interest me but I just finished watching it fully to add to the view count. Lol!
Good job, keep watching those ads 💪💪😝😝😝😝
@@alanrossreviews Yup... 3 or 4 ads in this vid... fully watched. :)
You guys are weird xD
Greetings from Mexico excellent your work 🤘💪
thank you 😁 from the UK!
Awesome rewiev. Must say the Jbl takes this, the deep bass is superior and sounds nice and clear. It loses bass at Max volume, but that is just the price you have to pay for deep bass. And by far it looks the best, that Sony is just butt ugly. Motion pluss sounds good but it needs more bass, hopefully it gets an upgrade soon.
the charge is doing better than i expected, its just the price where the issue is. £120 and itsa winner but £160 is taking the piss a bit 😂
@@alanrossreviews just have to be patient, I will go on sale from time to time 😉

Wow the JBL Charge 5 sounds incredible!! The Charge 5 wins!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Not incredible, but decent enough 😝
Ok 😉
Anker should make a upgraded soundcore motion q . As the small version I like . Feels better quality than the booms .......
Interesting 👍
Best review I have ever watched
in your opinion, from the sound, which one is better between 2 (tws) motion+ and 1 JBL Charge 5 ? ... because in terms of price, 2 Motion+ = 1 Charge 5.
2 motion pluses
I dont have these 3 BT speakers, but my choice will be anker soundcore motion +
It has a balanced sound.

I tried EQ It around 4kHz-7kHz but to no avail, still gavr a ringing sensation in my ears..
so what speaker do you have now?
The video is back !
yup! i had labelled one of the comparison clips wrongly!
@@alanrossreviews Oh I see, must have been confusing for first viewers 😂
@@alanrossreviews By the way thanks for fixing the charts !
@@ThibautMahringer thanks for pointing out the problem! obs was cutting off the edges.
Charge 5 is pretty decent but over priced , way better than charge 4 imho
Bro If you put the EQ on the charge 5 then it will be louder
depends on the eq and what you call louder, measured how?
Only JBL Charge 5 ! only £130 The best bass ,sopran only Spotify !
Hey Alan, you've made it clear that C5 is the best for low-mid volumes but which is the best sounding for mid-high ones? Say around 70% volume
Define best, at what size./budget? Bass? neutral? What kind of sound?
@@alanrossreviews Out of the three which would have the richest sound along with respectable bass at that sound volume. A speaker that would sound great and crisp in your room/lounge whilst being decent in a lawn/garden
@@shayanahmed1492 @ Alan, Following.. I look forward to this answer as well..
If you have motion + connected to the current, does it sound louder?
no
The Anker Motion + the battery is actually 7.2v and 3350 mah!
I think Alan Ross should run for prime minister😎🙌
good idea 🤗
anker is the best for the price. but jbl sounds the best in this comparison IMO
That seems to be the majority view
Excellent videos! Could you please advice: currently I find the charge 5 in my country selling for almost the same prize as the Sony xb43. Which should you recommend? Thanks!
id get the xb4 as long as you know the xb43 is much larger and much heavier
It's literally the only speaker I pay full price for no matter what because it's my favourite Speaker line I have the other four- cant wait to own number 5!
sure they all come down over time and ebay can pop up some deals. bottom line is if you love what you hear its worth the money.
Can you confirm this?
yes mine does this too. no effect using windows volume control but volume slider moves if you control volume on the speaker.
Charge 5 i would say since bass is weak on the m+
@@alanrossreviews That's what I ended up getting. Great little speaker!
Jbl charge 5 vs Bosé Revolve Plus. Please 🙏🏼
Dont have the revolve, sorry.
No one can compete with Motion Plus in price and size loudness ... 😎
yup loudness is crazy on this thing....
shitty bass and distortion the charge 5 is way better
@@jann8490 only problem that handle make speaker much bigger, maybe detachable will be good for everyone ?
@@alanrossreviews Eq and presets would avoid any service problems they currently have. Children turn on the service mode, which theoretically gives a little bass, but is therefore uncontrolled and causes rupture of passive membranes. The second issue may convince the more demanding users. Probably many anker's clients use their presets and not set the EQ themselves. In general, I consider the anker's stylistics to be very successful, serious and elegant, jbl and sony looks like a motley toy that is supposed to attract the attention of children rather than the wider audience.
I also get around 7-7.5 hours at full volume from my Motion+!
funny how there seems to be two versions of the m+, the 7hr version and the 3hr version...
@@alanrossreviews Yeah seems like... we were lucky :)
Maybe you have the older versions?
If I have my first 2 bass sliders up, my motion plus dies within 3-4 hours for sure, depending on volume.
Bring them down to normal & listen at moderate to high volumes, and it plays for 12h.
Wierd isn't it?
is there a list of speakers with embeded customizable eq? I cant seem to find info on this even on most official sites.
You can buy two JBL charge 3 for the Price of one JBL charge 5 is IT worth to upgrade nu JBL charge 3 tot JBL charge 5?
Only if you want deeper bass
I like motion plus
awesome!
Wow ... the best jbl upgrade is ... "jbl LOGO" 😂

Hi Alan. I'm still thinking you should change the 150 slider in Anker to -4.
Then he can play really nice deep bass. Plus on my mobile EQ I even push little more bass on top of max bass on the Anker app.
no for me it lacks impact that way. how you doing anyway?
@@alanrossreviews I have 80 to max, 150 -4,
300 -2.
It may appear first like it lacks of impact but it actually can reproduce a deeper bass.
Plus on my phone EQ I push just one slider, 60 Hz to plus 2.
The upper bass makes him sound hollow.
And my settings starts to distort about 85% volume.
But i have the motion boom, no need to eq the f^%k out of the m+ now 😛

Motion+ or Motion boom..
Which one do you take play both indoor & outdoor with full clarity?
Not sure what you mean by full clarity, all speakers sound different indoors vs outdoors
@@alanrossreviews I meant good quality sound balanced sound ...!!!
the plus is more balanced but its the depth of the bass on the boom that makes it we what it is, you will hear instruments totally missing on other speakers at around the 40hz mark

Hi Alan, I'm a recent follower and I love your reviews and comparisons. I want a speaker for a very weird use-case:
I want to have a bluetooth speaker that I can alternate between an everyday tabletop speaker for my desktop computer, a soundbar for my bedroom TV and a general around-the-house party speaker.
I was looking at the Soundcore Motion+, but I'm willing to go to around 200 bucks in price if I can get something that is much better (but preferably not much larger).
What would you recommend?
depends how you intend to connect because of latency issues, bluetooth or aux?
@@alanrossreviews my idea was to connect to the desktop using AUX and to the TV using Bluetooth, I don’t think I’d be using the TV for a lot of latency-sensitive content, and the delay compensation seems to work well for movies and videos.
if you are not worried about latency what about motion boom plus?
@@alanrossreviews my only reservation with the motion boom plus is the design, that doesn't look good on a computer desk or in front of my TV haha. Would you say it's that much better than the Motion+ for general sound that it would make it worth it?
EDIT: Apparently also not available here in Brazil :(
You present great videos you got me wanting the ANKER SOUNDCORE MOTION PLUS. I HAVE THE OTHER 2 speakers the JBL really goes low great sound to my ears I prefer the xb31 over the xb33.
not sure the plus makes too much sense if you already have the charge 5 and xb33

Does mono really matter with such a small spreaker?
depends on your ears

Amazon UK dropped the price for XB33 down to £99.00, even better.
That's about where it should be
Hi Alan, once again congrats, excellent work (very detailed and enlightening), I have one question: I'm able to get the B&O P6 for approximately 200€ which is slightly more than a Charge 5, how do you compare them? Is it worthy?
Bring also the Tronsmart Mega Pro (Very popular speaker due to his power price ratio). Regards 💪🏻
I have not heard the other two in person, so can't really give an informed opinion, sorry.
