Soundcore continues putting out speakers with great quality and sound that does compare with bigger and more popular as well as over priced brand names when it comes to performance and sound. Just goes to show corporate greed is a real thing when big brand names don't really care enough about people who struggle and don't want to have to shell out too much money when they cannot afford to.
The Motion+ are exceptional for the price and size of the speaker, I've had my stereo pair for over a year along with 11 other speakers and they still perform better than speakers twice their price!! Impressive..
Great video. I picked up the Motion Plus for $65 on Prime Day, and I absolutely love this speaker. It's loud with a dynamic sound once I EQ them, and the battery life is pretty good, will last pretty much all day if you don't play it at max volume. I highly recommend this speaker and I'm about to order the blue one
Got this on prime day as well...now I'm conflicted cause I own the Motion Boom as well!! The Boom has that Bass without the muddiness and would definitely kill that JBL flip...easy!!
@@toshtosh2000 honestly I would say that the 'BOOM' has the edge speaking also as a Bass head. The design of the speaker takes some getting used to though. I for one dont mind the built-in carrying handle and once you hear how it sounds you will be glad you made the purchase. I personally would wait for the price to drop...keep checking.
Hey Floss, a lot of people are saying that the Soundcore Motion Boom is even better than the Plus because it has more bass and still sounds great, for the same price. Would love to see you pair that one against those 3 other ones!
The Motion Bass definitely has more bass and is great for outdoors. The Motion+ has more detail and is better for listening indoors. Both are great speakers.
I've had the Motion+ for about a year. I use them when I'm smoking a cigar and enjoying a drink in my backyard. It sets the mood perfectly. I'm usually playing something casual so I don't need it to rattle my windows. I love it.
I've been using this speaker in a truck shop for a while now, easily fills the whole shop with music and the sound quality is so much better than those jobsite radios, much more compact as well.

I have been using Motion+ for 18 months. Till now I didn't see any speakers better than Motion+ within its price range. I'm still in love with its sound quality, battery backup is still great, 50-70% volume for 8-10 hours. My sister have Flip 5, my friend have Flip 4, they are nowhere near the motion+.

I got both, JBL flip 5 and soundcore motion plus. With the right EQ settings, the soundcore is way better than the Flip 5, also in terms of bass. I'll get an additional one.
I own two of these, one for home/travel and one at work! I'm thinking of buying a third one to pair at home! I'm somewhat of an audiophile, always on a song! I did a TON of research before I bought the first one. I LOVE IT!!! I also bought the Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro In-Ears a couple of months ago! They have excellent SQ, better than my Sony WF-1000XM3! Anker produces amazing products!!
@@di_calucer Hi there! You can only turn it on from the speaker itself. There isn't an alarm feature, as far as I know. It does have EQ settings from the Soundcore app. I ended up getting another one and I've paired them together at home. It's AMAZING!!! You should get it, don't hesitate! :)

I both have a jbl boombox and soundcore boost and I can say that the JBL bass is cleaner and more rich but love them both I carry my soundcore a lot :)
Got both the Soundcore Motion Plus and Motion Boom....and I believe the Bass on the Boom takes care of that muddiness.....definitely richer with those drivers on the sides (same 30W plus at a cheaper price). The Plus is still good and more travel friendly!!
I got both too. The Plus 4 years ago and the Boom two years ago. Both still going strong but the rubber at the top of the Motion Plus is a bit degraded but the Boom is better built. The Boom is better because of the bigger and deeper bass and bigger sound because of its size. They are about similarly priced. Go for the Boom, if you don’t mind the size, if you need the bass and it's cheaper than the JBL quite significantly.
Hey Floss! I challenge you with the Motion Boom (the motion plus' nephew) I've owned many of the speakers you've reviewed; However this Motion Boom! Has the lowest end bass compare to every speaker it's size. I promise you when you hear the lows on this little guy, it will have you scratching your head "how"!?

Not long ago I bought several speakers around that price range and size including the jbl and the motion + and I ended up keeping the soundcore flare+, that one sounded for me the best, you should try it.

I've got the motion plus cable chain with the minirg sub and you have to try that combination, deep bass from the sub and clear sound from the mid and the high of the motion. Also the motion + is a better stereo sound experience and with aptx the quality will increase drasticaly.
Bought one of these for $70 Amazon Black Friday deal. Liked it enough to get a second. Wow, two paired together sound fantastic! If you have one and are considering getting a second just do it. The difference is night and day. Of course that's gonna be the case with most speakers when you get the stereo seperation, so much more immersive. By the way, I only use them inside so can't say how they sound outdoors.
I've been so happy with that soundcore Motion Plus I mounted it to the handlebars of my motorcycle it looks good and I can hear it doing 80 miles an hour with no problem thanks for the video man always enjoyable
Yeeeeah Floss. I've had this speaker for a year and it's a beast once you tweak the EQ's. I've bought two and they absolutely rip everything I throw at them. There's a lot of EQ customizations out there. HiFi channels like Oluv's gadgets etc still swear on this speaker. I can't recommend it enough. I'm glad you did the review. They just released a "Boom" version and I'm thinking about getting one of them as well 👌🏼

There's a lot of EQ customizations out there. HiFi channels like Oluv's gadgets etc still swear on this speaker. I can't recommend it enough. I'm glad you did the review. They just released a "Boom" version and I'm thinking about getting one of them as well 👌🏼
