The ZENITH Defy Skyline Chronograph is available in metallic black, blue or silver. Its dial pairs the collection’s signature starry sky-patterned dial featuring engraved four-pointed stars with the traditional El Primero dial configuration. Three slightly oversized and overlapping counters show the elapsed seconds and minutes of the chronograph, as well as the constant running seconds. The date window - matching the colour of the dial - is positioned at 4:30, another El Primero signature. The flange ring with the 1/10th of a second scale has twelve facets, the form of the dodecagonal bezel and serving as extensions of the hour markers.
In an ever-faster moving world, every fraction of a second counts. Just like in the Defy Skyline automatic model and its skeleton counterpart, ZENITH continues to offer the 1/10th of a second function found, now in the form of a1/10th of a second chronographin the Defy Skyline Chronograph. This mechanical feat is the result of the El Primero 3600 calibre’s high-frequency rate of 5Hz (36’000 vibrations per hour), visible through the display back. Its open star-shaped oscillating weight with bidirectional winding efficiently provides a power reserve of 60 hours.
One of the highlights of the Defy Skyline is its integrated quick strap-change mechanism integrated directly into the case, allowing for effortless versatility without requiring any tools. With the simple push of a button, the three-link steel bracelet can be swapped with the supplied star-patterned rubber strap with steel folding buckle. The ZENITH Defy Skyline Chronograph is available from all ZENITH boutiques and authorized retailers.

Thank you so much for the kind feedback and for once again sharing our passion!
Anyone who goes with gut feeling knows that this man is The Watch Advisor, end of story no one ☝️ comes close to him.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
100% agree. The detail given as well as the macro photography is the closest thing you'll get to trying the watch on without actually being there in person. 👏 👏
Thanks for sharing our passion!
Love how detailed your videos are and the explaining the functions of this watch! Thanks!
Thanks for your kind feedback and for sharing your passion with us!
The white dial looks great.
Tfs
Beautiful. I love the 10th of a sec - differentiating and useful. The grey second hand is unique too. Their models are unique without being extravagant. Great work.
Thanks for sharing your passion with us!
Zenith is doing a great job recently.
They do! Which of the latest releases is your favorite?
@@WatchAdvisorI've been impressed Chronomaster sport titanium and Defy extreme diver!
Great new timepieces thanks 🏴❤️👍
Which one is your favorite?
Beautiful design and nice EL movement, waiting for other colorways, like gold and grey dial
There is more to come for sure 😉
Finally Zenith brought something sensible and beautiful and useful. Congratz!
Thanks for sharing your passion with us!
I really hope this goes to size 40 so that I can wear it . I have 2 zeniths already, the whole is blinded by Daytona. The chronograph from zenith is really the real deal!
Thanks for sharing your passion with us!
Ahhh! The video I was waiting for! Thank you WA!
Hope you enjoyed it!
These are the best zenith watches I have seen.
Thanks for sharing your passion with us! Which one would you choose?
@@WatchAdvisor You are welcome. The white or the blue.
Good choice!
Quite digging what Zenith are doing now. Great W&W year for the brand. Look forward to trying the diver on the wrist.
Once done, please keep us posted…
Beautiful watches,
Thanks for sharing! Which one is your favorite?
The blue dial.
great peaces. The black looks perfect
Thanks for sharing!
First of all, thanks Alexander to highlight Zenith which is a great brand doing superb timepieces while Everybody’s focused on the « new » (what a joke) GMT master II. The white dial is incredible - deeper than the others with a sort of 3D / hologram effect. The color changes from silver to cream depending of the light and it matches with all bracelet colors which is not the case with the other dials. Stunning watch ! Just my humble opinion ;-)
You are very welcome... thanks for sharing your passion with us!
I love it in blue with a blue strap!!!!
Thanks for sharing!
Very beautiful watch !!! I go for the blue!!!
Good choice 👍🏼
@@WatchAdvisorI wish they would have panda and reverse panda dials. I’m a sucker for those dials. Still these are beautiful.
These are great looking and futuristic in appeal compared to a lot of chronos out there. The only downside being the price - these are getting right up there. Still, you want quality and style this is the price these days. Love the strap options.
Thanks for sharing!
I love this guy.
Which one is your favorite?
Wow!
Which one is your favorite?
@@WatchAdvisor A always! Another great video! Where the watches are the stars AND always..... BLUE!
Bravo Alexander!
Thanks for sharing!
I was skeptical of this at first, but now I’ve really fallen for it. I hope they expand the strap offerings after it goes on sale, I would love to have it on leather as well.
I am sure thy will do… tastes are different and money talks… 😉
My A385 is one of my two best watches, so I’m a bit biased towards Zenith, I want to see them express their design language to its full potential, which is their own language in a lot of ways.
I’m not a huge fan of an integrated format, I don’t like being locked in to proprietary straps exclusively. I’m not typically big into white dials. That said, the white dial version of this watch is stellar, it gets me salivating. The blue is sweet too.
The only thing g I use my chronograph for is timing base runners at ball games and with my Revival, it’s tough to read finer than 1/2 second intervals, this would be cool, though I’d probably choose an A386.
Anyone considering something like an Ingenieur should give these a look, not to take anything away from the IWC. This is becoming a very strong line for Zenith, I hope the Revivals are finding traction with the general public, you have to know how to look at them, but once you do, stunning.
Let’s hope Zenith keeps it foot on the gas.
Thanks for sharing your passion and thoughts with us!
why did you skip the date jump test .. is it instantaneous or takes some time to jump ??
It is instantaneous…
Great watch, bit big but lug to lug seems reasonable. Price is worth it I think. Hope I win the lotto 😁
We keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Save up half and put the other half on credit card before interest rates keep going up.
Beautiful but only issue is the size, i hope 39mm or 40mm version will be on road.
Don't think so....
👍👌😊.
Which one is your favorite?
@@WatchAdvisor blue 😊
Like that cream dial version
Thanks for sharing!
Dear watch advisor,
Kindly cover the new Vacheron Constantin new releases
Hopefully soon or later this year… at Watches and Wonders we simply couldn’t do it this time…
Hold on. When you started adjusting the date the hour hand was on 10 ... was that safe ?
Absolutely! New calibres - so does the Zenith one - do all have a security so you can’t harm the mechanism…
Older movement will have that issue, but most modern movement has mitigated the issue
Grade 5 titanium, black dial with Rubber please 😁👍
Maybe it is already in the pipeline…
Almost bought a Zenith Defy Skyline just recently......but too big. Considered the "Ladies" version at 36 but couldn't do it (On a subtle level perhaps because they classified it as such). Seems most have identified the sweet spot to be 38 to 40 hence the success of the BB58 and others. Missed opportunity for Zenith here I feel unless there is something in the pipeline.
Thanks for sharing! Dare… and wear a bigger case size… you will quickly get used to and start loving it
The chrono seconds hand is moving so fast it makes me dizzy. Unfortunately, because the Zenith watches are gorgeous
It’s the only appropriate way of displaying the 1/10th of a second
Hi ,can you go swimming with them ,❤️🏴👍
Did you watch the video? We talk about watertightness…
@@WatchAdvisor 10 bar , thanks 🏴❤️👍
So you can even go diving if you wish… 😉
Everything looks great except the 1/10 second markings on a 12-faceted shape. 🤔
Why?
I personally think it makes the watch over designed. Also the 1/10 and 1/12 do not relate. All personal preference of course.
Looks similar to Royal Oak
The original Zenith was launched before though…
@@WatchAdvisor this 100000000000% 1969 - controversial statement but I have no doubt GG took inspiration in the design.
I was trying to figure out how to read 1/10th of a second, when the hour markers divide the circle into 1/12ths, and saw on closeups that there are 1 to 10 numerals on the chapter ring. Not explained in the video, but at least visible in some closeup views. Nevertheless, nice coverage!
To read the 1/10 of a second you use the numbers 1-10 plus sub division indicated on the so called “rehaut” … The chronograph central hand turns once every 10 seconds… when you stop it you can 1:1 read the elapsed time in combination with the seconds sub counter… just add the elapsed seconds/ 1/10 of a second on the rehaut to the elapsed seconds on the sub dial… it couldn’t be easier and more precise… let me know if you still have questions…
White for me...
White & blue looks gorgeous IMHO... how would you combine it?
@@WatchAdvisor White and blue or Black strap.
Thanks for sharing!
@@WatchAdvisor My pleasure.
