  • Little Cayman Island is a great place to dive in the Caribbean. Clear water, lots of turtles, and friendly marine life are all part of the diving scene here. We stayed at the Little Cayman Beach Resort, which we thought was one of the nicest land based resorts we have visited.

If you can afford it, go for it! The fondest of my childhood memories were of trips to Pirate's Point. Scuba diving on North Shore; lazy hours in a hammock hearing the surf break over the reef; water skiing to the beach at Owens Island; flounders, sting rays, baracuddas and sharks in the shallows. Also being turned back by a hurricane while trying to fly to Grand Cayman. The Islanders know how to live without strife.

Nice video. Thanks for putting it together and sharing with us. I've been thinking of going to Little Cayman and this video was very helpful.

Thanks for your kind words. They get consistently good reviews. I know several people who have gone there for multiple trips.

Without question the best reef and wall diving in the Western Hemisphere!

disheartening to see the underwater photographers diving with too much weight (upright position) i refuse to show them things i have found on the reef because most of them can't dial in their buoyancy. if you want true gourmet and a smaller operation on LC, check out Pirates Point. They can handle 17 guests a week.
