Hey, we are DKDKTV, Danny Kim and David Kim. We’re both two ordinary students who major in media studies and live in Korea. We’ve been making UA-cam videos since 2016 October. We love Kpop and we’re learning and listening to it! We do reactions for Kpop and other music genres as well. Also we both live in Seoul, Korea so we film our daily lives or special days and make them into vlogs as well, known as the ‘Seoul City Vibes’ series. Justin Chon, Jun Sung Ahn and David Choi are Korean-American while Ryan Higa is Japanese-American and Philip Wang is Chinese-American.
Jun Sung Ahn was born in Seoul, South Korea. He's fully Korean.

Most people in the world do not have or know how to use computers so they don't know about UA-cam or Higa. Even people who use computer machines don't all know about UA-cam or its video makers.

tanzanable Lol, what are you talking about? I was just surprised that they didn't know Ryan Higa (didn't mean it as criticizing them). He's like one of the most famous (the most famous for me lol) UA-camrs ever, like even before Pewdiepie or anyone came on, Ryan was there. If you had been on UA-cam years ago, I'd expect you to know him. That's the only reason why I was surprised.
A_Controversial_Cat - I understand your view. I think that what has happened is that the world and UA-cam are so HUGE now that we all tend to wander through YT in our own bubbles. There are so many people who for whatever reason don't necessarily follow "popular" channels or "pop culture" so they would not know about certain YT channels. Also, most of these channels with large numbers of views are in English and reflect American culture. Most of the world does not know English or much about American culture so they would not know these channels.

Love the way the blue denim guy did the reaction. He understands the satire and punch lines of the video. I found it's a very rare reaction to get from native koreans (from what I've seen so far from the other korean reaction videos toward this parody).

so what if its cheesy.. most, if not all of them have worked on comedic skits.. its supposed to be a parody of what they think of KPOP MVs and most of Ryans videos are cheesy and thats what makes his videos funny.
Jun, the one with the pink hair, has a youtube channel under JunCurryAhn. He does violin/dance covers of popular kpop songs, and even performed at Kcon last year in LA (where he met BTS after covering Save Me), and this year in Mexico. BgA's ongoing joke is that Jun is like the "actual kpop star" in the group; that's his position, lol. He also does the choreo for BgA.
It's funny how after 1 year, they still don't know anything about the boys in BgA when they are all so incredibly talented and well known. 3 of them are Korean David, Jun and Justin. JUN did not play the violin because he was just imitating a kpop idol or making fun of him, it's because he is actually a good violinist. I think they were just giving a shout out to BTS :)) Jun actually meat them and played a cover at the opening of the concert.

DKDKTV, just to let you know (if you didn't know) David Choi is a singer/musician. Pink hair is Jun Curry Ahn who is a violinist w/his own YT channel w/covers of kpop music and has performed at kcon before and has met BTS too. The lesser known of all the guys is Justin Chon and he was in the movie Twilight as one of Bella's high school friends. I'm sure you already know who Ryan Higa is and Philip Wang (Wong Fu Productions).

I feel like some people generally don't understand that BgA is so successful due to the fact that Ryan and the rest of the crew are just trying to make people laugh and not doing it for fame so they don't try hard to look cool or dance amazingly. I think it's successful because it's funny to watch but also has a nice beat to it.

I personally don't think that I want them to be in the Korean entertainment industry because not all Koreans might not like their accents or goofiness. but it will be nice if they just have a guesting in some shows or music events but not under a Korean company. They are very popular UA-camrs that's why they have a lot of view counts. I also like their individual youtube channels as well. And David, you can't replace David (Daeyang) because he's the main vocal, the lyricist and the one who does the song arrangement. Just be their "rivals". it would be fun! :D
