Well, I wasn’t sure you were going to get that ice cream cone..funny guy. I’m fascinated with the rock dwellings. I tried to find some info but didn’t have any luck. Do they have a special name? Thanks again for an interesting run. One suggestion…slow your panning down.

Sorry I panned a little too quick on this one - I couldn't believe the landscape around me! 😊 The rock structures take on many forms in Cappadocia, with cave dwellings, churches (as you see) and some very extensive underground cities. Try looking up the Goreme Open Air Museum, the community of Zelve, and the underground cities in Derinkuyu and Kaymakli. All very impressive!
