    I really appreciate the way you guys upload. Posting a video with chase buying a bunch of stuff, and then processing and selling it in a separate video is amazing quality content!

    I wonder if these trolls realize they help your channel with thumbs downs and negative comments 😂. Oh well, if you don’t have jealous trolls then you’re not succeeding. Keep it up guys! Great videos!

      When people don't like something or they question something about a video and you call them trolls sounds like you're the hater the jealous one there's people that try and work real hard to do what this guy does and fail did you realize out of 100 startup companies only 10 of them succeed it's about luck hard work and dedication
      And also being full of s*** which I think this guy is

      @@markopole6941 he employs 6 people full time. You can’t fake that lol. You think I’m jealous of people who get paid by the hour? I’m confused. I’ve been a full time reseller for 6 years and work by myself and make around $100k a year working half as much as I used to making $40k answering to bosses. He’s trying to teach yall what he does. If people want to stay working at McDonalds I get it but when they take their time to hate on people succeeding that’s jealousy 100% of the time. Not one successful person hates on other successful person for their hustle. If they do then the person hating is lying that they’re successful period. lol

    Hi Chase,
    Just had a point of clarification because I think it would be helpful to your viewers.
    You mentioned you had a 54% margin on the whatnot show. Which is technically incorrect. Margin is the amount of profit you made on the overall sale. In this case you made $540 in profit on $1540 in sales so your profit margin is actually 35%, not 54%.
    The 54% you are calculating is actually the markup. Meaning you charged $540 on top of the $1,000 in cost that you had.
    I think it’s an important distinction for any business because most people can survive on a 30% margin. But very few can make it with a 30% mark up.
    Just thought it was worth pointing out because I notice you use the word Margin often when talking about mark up.

    Not a big deal at all but just something to note is that you have a 50% mark up and a 30% margin. The margin is profit over total sales (so 500 over 1500) and mark up is profit over cost (500 over 1000).

    I thought you said the sale was 15% off, not 20%? At least that’s what you said on the main channel video. Also I don’t remember hearing anything about the buy 5 get one free deal. SUS!!!!!!

      @abcamacho6187 Рік тому +2

      Yea 15% off from what was said on the main channel but the buy 5 get 6th free was DEFINITELY mentioned in the first video.

    • @JS-bw2wc
      @JS-bw2wc Рік тому +2

      Yeah I remember hearing the buy 5 deal also. But yeah I’m questioning the honesty and full transparency with these deals they get. I mean he said he paid $5 for the SP replacement battery but they are $9.99 on XYAB website soooo… just doesn’t seem quite right especially if these videos are somewhat of a tutorial/guide if you wanted to build your own reselling business.

    • @SpankysLoot
      @SpankysLoot Рік тому

      @@JS-bw2wcThe batteries are $5. Since XYAB are mainly a supplier for store/resellers, once you make a business account then you get the better wholesale prices.
      Source: I have a shop. I refurbish consoles and buy from XYAB all the time.

    • @JoshuaLeMaistre
      @JoshuaLeMaistre Рік тому

      I think he misspoke on the 20% off but the 30% is right. 1/6 = 16.6% so 15% off plus have the 6th free is over 30% off. It is likely closer to 30% though because for the 1/6 to be full 16.6% all the items would need to be the same price since they likely remove the cheapest one. So he likely had less than that and therefore about 30% seems right.

      @JS-bw2wc You get an additional discount on xyab if you buy in bulks. I put in a 300ish dollar order a month ago and once you start buying in bulk they give you a better discount than what it is to buy single items.

    You need to know the difference between Margin and Markup. On a cost of $1000, a 50% Margin is $2000. A 50% Markup is $1500. Yeah, it's a technicality, and nitpicking, but for business owners, you should know.

    This content along with all the other reseller content on UA-cam ruins the retro market and is the reason why the market is super inflated. Keep taking from the little mom and pop shops and giving it to Amazon king he needs another yacht.
