In Reynad's defense, The Stonewright IS really strong in Wild where there's actually enough Totem support to play a Totem deck. I've been playing it for a few days now and other than Splitting Axe and Totemic Reflection, it's easily the best non-Totem card in the deck. If it comes down on curve, I don't lose, even in matchups where I expected to, because if there's anything we learned from School Teacher, it's that a 4 mana 5/4 is really good. If there was a little more support for the archetype in Standard, he'd be right and it would be pretty busted. For reference, I am currently at the highest rank of Platinum I've ever been (6 or 7) because I've only been playing Wild for three months now, and I was in Silver when I started playing this deck. Sinstone Totem is DEFINITELY broken in Wild, if you're willing to diverge from Even Totem Shaman or run Amalgam and manage to discover a copy.
It’s not broken, but it is certainly viable. Stonewright isn’t that good though, as its only really good on turn 4, gets a lot worse after. I see less and less even shaman the higher I go, as people start playing slower decks that can deal with even. I haven’t seen an even shaman for a few days in legend
As regis said in 1 video, if you get stonewright down on turn 4 in standard, it's a solid tier 2-3 deck. If you don't, it's like tier 9 When you put it like that stonewright is an amazing card, it enables an entire archetype - it's just that you need to play it to do it and the archetype in standard does nothing without it
@@EC-ip3mm I would argue that as long as you draw it before turn 7 it's actually still pretty strong in that it's a tempo swing your opponent didn't see coming. Also, like I said before - it's still a 4 mana 5/4. That's a lot of stats to value trade with in a deck that has a very good chance to heal its minions at end of turn. Also, after several more games where people managed to out-tech Sinstone Totems, I've revised my opinion down to "amazing against most classes, absolute trash against Priest"
Doesn't she buff the totems already on board? That kind of negates drawing her later. Also i have no idea why he acts like wild doesn't exist for these videos

I disagree about Denathrius, he's for sure insanely powerful in the classes that have the synergy to run him, mainly Druid and Shaman, but also Mage and DH.
I mean you can squeeze him into a mage one, but mage has a better option in the legendary for volatile skeletons which would be the main deck to run Denathrius as mage, you could squeeze in both but Denathrius would be a much weaker finisher for it and definitely end up as plan B. Poor Reynad, you told him so much things being simply not true, especially after patch :)
Always good to see Reynad, he is super cool :) (oh and you obviously too :))
Imagine draw 9 card with only 7 imp on board ) Our 5 years old Rarran ))
I never expected a SECOND Reynad!!
1:02: wild noises intensify.
What a good sport Reynad is about this, knowing there's a fair chance for him to just look clueless.
Thanks for another episode with Reynad.
That cat has been making a ton of guest appearances. Next time just have him show the cards 😆
I haven't played hearthstone in years but I keep watching these videos
Im a simple man. I see the noodle. I click the video
love Reynad, wish he'd return to steaming again. His game looks cool, but the financialization model raises a lot of doubts. It's gonna be sad when the games' NFT inevitably crashes and ends up on Coffeezilla 's channel
the original concept of his game was waaaaay more interestingto me. then auto-battlers became popular and the game completely shifted direction. it was originally supposed to be a deckbuilding game against another player, now it's a game that plays itself against "ghosts"... :P i'll probably check it out when it's out, but i can't see myself playing it long-term.
13:15 there has never been a case where this card drew 9 cards because thats simply not possible with 7 board slots xD
jokes, while watching this video listening to you guys talking about Renathal, me and my opponent both started the game with it. Gamechanger at all
“Druid, epic, broken” what a legend.
Reynad's hair and room look like he surfs and volunteers at a turtle rescue center. Aloha.
0:46 he was probably thinking of the old Paladin card just called "Quartermaster"
props to reynad for keeping up his perspective for each card lol
The secret mage deck is actually good from what I'd seen too so no idea on that one xD You just have to be good at mage, which has been bad for quite a while when I was more standard focused, so there is that lol.
this style of videos are the best imo
He actually didn't think about "Stormpike Quartermaster" but the Paladin card "Quartermaster" from Goblins vs. Gnomes.
please more vids with reynad :)
Man I am totaly relating with reynad. Haven‘t played hearthstone in 4 years and the Power level now is off the rails.
I would love to see a video checking cards from the Bazaar now and then see you try it out.
Absolutely love these vids!
Rarran :
Red Heiring isnt good.
Mark:
Let me show you...
You could have asked him about his opinion about the "new" hero power totem since he probably doesnt know that the spell damage totem got removed.
