This is what I love - fast, simple, one-pot wonders with simple ingredients and classic flavor. Going to make this for lunch tomorrow, and wondering how I could boost the protein for a complete meal? Maybe throw in a cup of chickpeas and add extra spice?

I made cabbage sabzi to have with dal tadka, brown rice and a big dollop of home made thick yoghurt. I'm now looking for other vegetable dishes I can swap around with this sabji. Love it!

I've had cabbage poriyal, so there's a few other veg included, as well as (I believe) a little toasted urad dal. This looks wonderful and easy!

Sauerkraut is about all I would do with a cabbage and use that in other meals. Oh and salad, too, but it's with vinegar, so also in the same direction. This look interesting, I might try that.

If you eat pork,shredded cabbage,thinly sliced onion,and thinly sliced apple sauté together,add caraway seeds,makes a great vegetable dish with pork chops. Thinly sliced cabbage,onion,grated carrots sautéed together,then add seasoning of your choice,and several beaten eggs,cook till set.Good hot,or cold.You can also add grated potatoes to the mixture.Then of cause there is stuffed cabbage. Hope this gives you some cabbage ideas.😊

I have become a fan of your dal tadka/fry recipe but I have to dislike this one because potato doesn't get cooked in 8+7 minutes for 100% sure (with 2 tbsp water and medium heat, though lid closed). And you have similar potato recipes which we already know would take around 20 to 30 minutes to be fully cooked.
potato DOES cook in 8 minutes, infact it cooks in 5 minutes too. It totally depends on the variety of potatoes you are using, the heat from the hob and the thickness of the pan. Not the first time cooking potatoes here!😂

I don't wish to be nasty Chetna because I'm a huge fan but these pop ups are a bit silly. I mean, most of us know what a cabbage looks like without a graphic. Perhaps just use pops for name of the dish and ingredients.
