I took your advice about the Kuhn vs pequea and the Kuhn dealer here in WV did not reply to a question that I had soooo .... I went with the pequea 10 wheel and I love it!
    Thanks again for the input
    GOD BLESS

SOLD! Might have to make a drive to Cain as all my local dealers are Green and I worked for one of them and I wouldn't give them a dime of my money. I've looked at bush hog for the price, but this thing is sweet...

My vermeer can adjust down the down pressure with a quick clip on each side up here Kuhn and Vermeer are just about the only rakes you see a couple of people have the new Holland but these new wheel rakes have technology built in they clean the field while staying together for a cheap price

I have the 110 g2 and i have trouble with the uphill side missing hay on sloped fields. Would love the rake if i could get that figured out.

westernwi farms try increasing your down pressure it’ll tell how to adjust them in the owners manual they have a spec there supposed to be at it may be off if there where they should be try adding more

One more question if I could. Did you consider the Kuhn SR 300 series rakes when buying this SR 108 GII ? Thanks!

No I’ve never even seen one in person typically all you see in our area is the 100 series

How to your deal with the heat in that building in the summer? Does the white roof make it bearable? One of mine has a light grey roof and it is too hot in the summer even with doors open and fans running.

It’s not to bad I run a fan but being it’s under the pecan tree that helps a lot

    Question?
My ground is rough, would it be an advantage to have an adjustable spring on each wheel of the rake,
like the Holland or Pequea have.
I can get parts for the Kuhn much easier. Btw

I use a 10 wheel Vermeer it's fully adjustable does a real good job we are in Tenn it's rough and steep holes every 10 ft there are some up here with individual spring and they do a real good job as well they will reach in the holes and dips and get the hay

The two up here are new Holland and I think the other one was a frontier with the spring

@@randylove6036 no problem if you don't mind to spend a little extra for the new Holland rake you will be happy with it Vermeer and Kuhn are both equally good rakes but the new Holland will gather more hay and go over rougher ground without missing any hay

@@jwhitley101whitleyfarms9 I have only used roller bar. But I want the wheel rake, it just seems like the Holland etc would be a better fit for me on my rough ground. But as you say they are more expensive.
