- Polavaram Project, is an underconstruction multi-purpose irrigation project on the Godavari River in the West Godavari District and East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh. The project has been accorded national project status by the Union Government of India.

ACQUISITION, REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT ACT, 2013". With this Act Government should provide higher compensation than it was supposed to pay in 2004 and rehabilitation to all the affected families.
