Please watch the entire video before attempting repair
This video will show you how to replace broken hinges on the Microsoft Surface line of tablets. All Surface tablets are similar as the one shown in this video (Surface Go 3) Surface Pro, ect.. I use liquid adhesive to set back into place the screen (E6000 or B7000) as the specific adhesive I use has properties similar to that of good quality double sided tape.

Hi there, Great vid. My almost new Pro 8 has a broken hinge but not the screw in type like the one shown. Any advice where these are sourced please as no luck so far?
I believe that model the hinge is built into the kickstand. You will need a replacement kickstand

What would you consider medium heat? I have a reflow gun with a minimum set temperature of 100c.
I used to set mine to 400f to be safe (takes longer), the temp I used in the video is 750f

What is the point of those tabs that are inserted? Do they act as an antenna or some other electrical purpose?
Can i apply the same process to repair my surface pro 9 ?
4:49 You don't need to open the hinges in order to place those screws in the hinges to segure the kickstand. if you look at 4:05 you can see that you have clear access to those screwholes from within the device. Just align the kickstand flip over and insert screws.
Hi do you know what types of nails is it? The right side of my laptop is disconnected and i saw that the nail was gone + some sticker too

Unfortunately yes, that is the case with all the surface tablets so far.

I have a surface pro with the detachable keyboard. For some reason the hinge binds a little when opening, but only sometimes. It doesn't stop if from opening, it just makes a slight crack noise an then opens normally. I don't think there is anything wrong with the hinge. Just don't know why it slightly binds.
