Thanks Thrifty Garage! Just a quick follow up on the 157-21 error problem on the new T595 that I was so angry about two days ago. In case it could ever help someone else, but I can't believe it would every happen twice, but who knows...? Simply put, I was getting the two error codes since new 20 hours ago and the other day I noticed that the primer bulb attached to the fuel filter was deflating and staying that way. I was backtracking the hoses and accidentally disconnected the snap fitting on the "T" fitting just below the primer bulb. The bulb hissed and inflated back to normal... I wish I knew how to add links and photos, but there is a small water drain hole at the bottom of the machine shaped like half a half moon. The fuel hose had a small 3" loop of itself hanging down through that small hole and it was kinked almost completely...! Freak occurrence, quality control issue, squirrel without teeth??? Who will ever know? But at least I found the issue myself (dealer 7 hours away) and thankfully, it was SIMPLE. I was so happy that I wasn't even mad anymore about spending all that money on filters and Bobcat's current quality control issues, ie..Cylinder drift, door that traps you inside - or out routinely, brand new fuel filler tube all cracked like it was 40 years old already.
Having the same issue with a 2017 T590. Some of the same error codes. Buddy said he loaned machine to a friend and they didn’t drain the water from bottom of the filter. Now it won’t run and Bobcat says the entire fuel system needs be replaced and then tried to buy the machine from us for practically nothing lmao!!! Gonna check that sensor tomorrow and get a new fuel filter. So when replacing it should I drain all the fuel out of the tank just to be sure no water is still in it? I know I need to bleed the air off and prime it up ! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!
I have an ASV RT 120 F that is giving me these same issues. I have been getting similar codes. I have already changed the fuel filters. It was well overdue, but it has still not resolved the deeper issue; I am leaning more towards a sensor that is starting to fault. I have had this machine for about 3.5 years now and it has been a GREAT machine, the only other issue that I have had with it has been the stupid DEF system sending unit went out, but luckily cummins has a 5/yr warranty on that system. I will let you know what I find out. I did just trace all of my wires from the fuel rail sensors, and there were a few that seemed loose. Hopefully that will fix the issue. Thanks for your video.
It’s probably electrical related. Make sure the battery is 100%. Check the connections. See if your dealer will print a wiring diagram. Check the wires and connectors.
Did you check your water in fuel sensor? And yes, these machines do not like dirty fuel. I would always run a filter on a transfer tank and be cautious with gas cans.
Have a T650 only had 400hrs on it and the fuel pump failed and sent metal fragments to the injectors was covered under warranty . have my friends T595 only has 291 hrs on it and its got 8 codes but runs and works fine ?? got to find out what they all are .
I just had this happen to my T770 bought it less then a month ago and it's a 2015 with 2,000 hrs on it. I was really upset about it but after my friend who's was helping got unstuck we managed to load her up on the trailer and I'm waiting to contact the bobcat dealership monday. Watching this video makes me want to drain the fuel (they put in it) and re fuel it and swap out filters. Any thoughts on this?
@@ThriftyGarage thank you. Not gonna lie I started shitting a brick because I just got it lol. After watching your video and quite a few others it's actually not that big of a deal thankfully
What is the difference between Relay Error OFF and Relay Error ON. I have always wanted to know. For instance I have a M6803 HVAC Relay Error OFF but M6802 is the same but says ON. I don't expect you to diagnose my problem but the ON-OFF thing baffles me.Thanks for all the good videos.
I have a brand new T595. At 7 hours (comes with 2.5 hrs already), I got the 157-21 error code. Trapped inside the machine, had to try starting twenty times to get it to a safe place... Dealer said it was the fuel. The fuel they had put in it of course... It was the summer weight diesel. I received the machine in the winter. They told me to change filters ($60 later)... The tags are still hanging on it for crying out loud, and I have to put money into it already... It has happened at 20 hours, 27 hours, 30 hours, and all day today with 32 hours. WTH?! Today I had to move it, so I spent they day being trapped, moving it a little ways, forgetting and thinking it had passed, trying to get it on a trailer, then having it happen over and over. Each time I had restart it over and over... Probably not good for it... What a $55K piece of crap... Anyway, I saw something different today. It was hot and I noticed that fuel squeeze bulb was sucked flat. At first I thought it was squished by the door, but it was being sucked shut... Make any sense to anyone? I'm not a mechanic. I'm not even a contractor, so I have no idea how this stuff works. Do I have to replace some more filters? I need to buy stock in a filter company if I decide to keep getting trapped inside this machine... Unbelievable... Oh yea, and it has bad cylinder drift too! I was working on the tracks and used the bucket lift method and walked away with the door open... Came back and the door that usually traps me inside, was crushed. I broke my industrial floor jack jacking it back up to get the door closed and should have learned my lesson, but I'm a slow learner apparently. Before I was done with the job, the machine had sagged down again, but with the door closed and I couldn't get back inside to get it started to get the bucket out of the way again. Luckily I married a skinnier wife and was able to squeeze her in and give her instructions for the thirty two step process for turning the machine back on so I could get the door open again. Were these designed by millennials!?!?! I owned my old 825 Bobcat for 30 years and hated to let it go. But this thing is a huge overpriced disappointment to say the least...! Naturally the dealer is 5 hours away too, and really doesn't care now that he's all paid up... It would all be sorta funny if it were someone else... Sorry for the long rant. Just got home and filled with disgust...
I was pretty frustrated also. My suspicion is that the fuel from the factory or assembly lube breaks down weird. Could be bad fuel, who really knows. Changed the filter and removed the fuel bugger and it's been running well ever since. I know it's not optimal but you can always take off the door. Prevents from getting stuck inside. One big disadvantage of this style door though.
Here is what the code reads: "75-35 Right Rear Steering Sensor Out Of Range Low." Could be a bad sensor or wiring issue. There may even be some debris affecting the sensor operation.
Dirt and water in fuel. Owner error. Keep your fuel clean no dirty cans. doesn't matter if machine has 2 hours on it . . There is a reason you have a fuel filter to protect your injectors. Dealer will not pay for your mistakes be careful injectors are very expensive. Replace fuel filter good luck.
157-10 should be a fuel rail pressure fault. Check your fuel lines between your fuel tank and the pump for any restrictions or leaks. Changing your fuel filter and remove any possible contamination source.

I'd definitely recommend replacing the fuel filter. Also checking the sensor to ensure it's not reading incorrectly.

Thanks for your video.
I hope you find your issue. These newer issues with all the sensors seem to require higher fuel filtration than older diesel equipment.
Any idea on how I get my t650 throwing a operator code m5202 back in operation?
Did you look up the code?
Yes the code said says some operating switch the machine is a 2017 t650
Need help have talked with bobcat manager and they will not help me . I don’t won’t to spend 1000’s when I know it can’t be that

I just replaced the fuel filter on my T590 and it keeps giving the same error. Could it be dirty fuel tank?
Did you check your water in fuel sensor? And yes, these machines do not like dirty fuel. I would always run a filter on a transfer tank and be cautious with gas cans.
T750 has a hydraulic bypass handle lower left side (RED) This will dump the pressure to the lift arms. Maybe T650 has the same thing.
Good to know!
My t595 has the relief valve and also the back window pops out if needed.
So did changing the fuel filter end up fixing the issue? Or did you still have issues after this video?
New fuel filter and clean out the water separator. Also have a filter on the transfer tank.

What causes M7504 fault in this model?
GREAT video. Your very intelligent

We are having the same issue with ours..dang machine doesn't have 400 hours on it...does it have an OBDII type diagnostic port?
That black sludge looked like alge to me..probably have to clean out your tank.
Draining and fuel filter change solved the problem.
hello, what a good channel. Do you know what code 173 means? in an S550
I'm sorry I do not. Is there any other numbers, dashes or digits. Generally you can Google the codes to determine what the problem is.
I have a S250(2007) having a 74-35 code. What could be the issue.
Here is what the code reads: "75-35 Right Rear Steering Sensor Out Of Range Low." Could be a bad sensor or wiring issue. There may even be some debris affecting the sensor operation.
Thrifty Garage ..Thanks
What if the unit will run for say 3-4-5 minutes and die?
But will start up again and repeat die after 3-4-5 minutes????
E000157-21 code
I’d check the fuel and related components as shown in this video.
99% of the time its the SCV valve aka Fuel Metering Valve 7256772. That was my problem. $1000 part from bobcat or $100 online

Nailed it thank you sir
