I got my air pods max for 280€ used (2 months old ) and I have no problem wearing them for 8 hours, also the microphone is important for me. Used both for gaming and for work and workout (walking and jogging). Probably like with VR headsets it depends on the head shape. My brothers on the other hand has major problems wearing them for longer than an hour

The Beats Studio Pro are the most comfortable headphones I have tried and I am happy to have them after selling my AirPods Max. ANC is not an important feature for me, with Transparency mode being way more important.
