Hey man, I have lag issue and bad quality on my portal due to stability problem even if my connection is great, but will I have the same problem with the ps plus streaming games on my portal ? My ps5 can stream ps plus games without problem though
Hey, thanks for reaching out! If your connection is great and you're still experiencing lag and quality issues on the Portal, it might be due to the stability of your local Wi-Fi or the device's compatibility with streaming. PS Plus streaming games on the Portal should theoretically perform similarly to your PS5’s streaming performance since they both rely on the same network infrastructure. However, the Portal may introduce some latency depending on how it's connected. I'd recommend ensuring the Portal is on a 5GHz Wi-Fi network, as it handles streaming much better than 2.4GHz. Also, try positioning it closer to your router or using a wired Ethernet connection via an adapter if possible. You can find one on Amazon called anker USB C to ethernet Adapter
what app you use to check internet speed? because it looks very good
speedtest on Google
