    Great video with lots of useful information for software engineers who want to move and settle abroad. You can add Dublin to the list of European cities also. It has a booming IT industry and many companies do sponsor visa. You reminded me of my own story, back in 2013 I was also searching for a job in Europe. I didn't want to join a services company and directly migrating to USA or UK was virtually impossible. So I started targeting jobs in Ireland, Netherlands and Germany. I had two offers from Amsterdam and Berlin in 2012 but salaries were rather low ( I was working with one of the good product companies in India at the time). Eventually in 2013 I got a decent offer from a startup in Ireland and I moved. After working in Ireland, Germany and UK for 6 years here I am in USA working with one of the FANG companies. By the way, I also feel that clearing a FANG companies interview in Europe (or even US) is easier than India. Or maybe I am just getting smarter with age ;-)

      Clearing interview in US is easy compare to India. In India this big companies want to show people why they are big so unnecessarily they keep interview rounds hard but in reality work is not even 50% hard of that interview level.

    Thank you so much this is really informative. I mostly work on Node.js, Express.js, React.js, Redux and React Native as well. I have like 1+ years of experience and yeah still going strong. Currently I am getting remote job interviews as well so yeah I am going through it and I will share my experiences also. But I would say please keep posting such videos these are super helpful.
    I had one interview form Germany I even 2 rounds for them, only thing was I should at least know some conversational German so that didn't quite workout well. Apart from this, I have given an interview to a company based in Singapore. So yeah definitely it is just a matter of hard work, luck being at that place at that time kind of thing.

      I work on a similar stack. Would you say that the interview process was tougher than the usual MNCs in India? or is it similar to a normal MNC interview?

    • @pbdivyesh
      @pbdivyesh 5 років тому +1

      @@winstonjude6709 I would say the process was more mature, well prepared, well behaved, and fundamentally good in terms of asking what is essential. Where as MNC and Startups in India just ask you machine level logic which has been already solved but to know if you can do division and then subtraction they will ask you so much low level question.

    5:02 want to update you guys about -What Is the Germany Job Seeker Visa?
    The Germany job seeker visa is a type of long-term visa which entitles you to stay in Germany for up to six months and search for a job. However, not everyone is eligible for this type of visa, and to be granted one, certain requirements must be met.

    Its treasure, I missed.. seeing just now.. meanwhile I moved to Canada on my own.. I was also never lucky in 13 years career to go abroad. Worked for a German country in India, again luck matters.. But I am convinced with a friend who moved to product based company 10 years in India with bulk package, excluding abroad ideas..
    Key point : If you are in stage of school going kid(s), think about English school, they will be expensive alot.

Can be a good option for bachelors and they can stay there for one or two years before settling down here in India after marriage. Those who are getting 25 LPA or + in India for them working in CONTINENTAL EUROPE is a BOGUS IDEA - salary wise it would be similar or a tad less with NO INCREMENT and since it is quite EXPENSIVE there (lot more than Bangalore) there would be less savings. Can be a good option for bachelors and they can stay there for one or two years before settling down here in India after marriage. I have first hand experience and I had worked in Netherlands in Past.

    Could you let me know which skills are in more demand, As I feel that AWS, GCP and most of the technologies which we were working in India such as AWS, GCP, HP Products, Storage, Backup, all these technologies are of no use in Europe? If you have any idea on BI specific tools can you describe it, please...

    Hi, First of all thanks for your great videos on system design it really helped in enhancing the subject knowledge. In this video you have mentioned the platform Jobbatical , when I checked the same it appears like a kind of immigration platform and not a job search platform. Can you please confirm ,if I'm referring to wrong link
