Like Tommy says, this is the greatest CK3 playthrough he's done. Usually he just quits but this time he finished it. All the drama, the action, even the failures all shaped this into an amazing story being told. Just imagining how this could look as a TV show is incredible.
Honestly, Tommy is such a great entertainer if you actually committed to his bits in CK3. What I mean by this: Not giving up nearly every time something bad happens. Actually ROLEPLAYING the characters. Making choices based on the character's personality... even if they're bad. Staying off the map painting and focusing more on characters rather than anything else. Reading the messages when they pop up so people can see what the stories are all about. Maybe even doing summary of events and actually looking around the map to see what's happening. Less salt, more enjoyment.
Me and my friends have been playing the new DLC with GOT endlessly the past few days , its actually so much fun, and all the time periods are cool if your a nerd of GOT lore. The mechanics of dragons as an actual character is super cool and the way they also grow is pretty dynamic to an extent, especially if your all doing your own thing. If you have some friends to play with, one of you buy the new DLC and try it out. You will not regret it honestly. (BTW i think Paradox's DLC policy is scum , but im willing to say this was actually a good one.)
dont bother the mod is practically dead. Very buggy and unfinished terrain, no custom models..... hasnt been updated in over a month and the colonize valyria compatch is broken. The new cultures and religions arent even finished. The only thing they have thats worth it is Braavos but even then theres no faceless men or Iron Bank flavour
They did account that someone like you would try and spread high val culture. the reason why you can spread essosi, westerosi val culture instead is because it is intended.
I found out about this game hearing about the mod about a week ago and I’ve seen a handful of videos and I’ve purchased the game but I don’t know how to play the game. I love the world of song of ice and fire and imagine I will be totally engrossed but does anyone have a suggestion on some videos I can watch about playing CK3+AGOT for a new player?
To be fair the further away the army rally point is the longer it takes to raise levies. For massive empires it sometimes makes more sense to raise armies near the capital and then march out.
@@aclayttu Also with some mods like better battles the commander has to physically travel to the army he's leading, which makes it harder to raise massive armies in some backwater province.
