For people that dont know, scotland is a presbyterian dominated country. We are a loyal ally to England, who we see as our brothers and most of us are related to English people. After 3 centuries, 2 world wars, administrating an empire together and more. We like eachother. The "scottish" people that you have seen dislike or hate on the english are in fact irish people whose families moved here after the famine, they are NOT scots in this sense and claim the title while doing things like support the irish national teams in sports. We are not anti-english bigots, a stereotype peddled forward by bitter irish people who try to forcefully separate us from our friends.

Realistically Scotland can never become independent. Its economy is running a net loss now despite getting billions from Westminster and being able to freely trade with England.
