Impromptu Visit to KJP Hardwoods In Ottawa (short vid)

Our warehouse was shut down due to a power outage, so I took the opportunity to head over to KJP Hardwoods just down the road and figured I'd take you along for the trip. They are a killer wood supplier in town and all around luthier candy store. Ran into Jeff McKay (McKay Guitars) while I was there! Mandatory socially distanced selfie included. 👍

And they're just a few blocks away from Lowe's, Canadian Tire and Rona, for all the tools, finishing supplies, and sandpaper you're clearly gonna need after you pick up the wood of your fantasies.

And what you didn't note about the fingerboard made of thin slices of banksia nuts was that the epoxy they used to fill the holes was glow-in-the-dark! Seriously. I had to cup my hands around my eyes to block out the daylight when I saw that guitar, but it really IS a fluorescent fingerboard.
