Thank you! First time travelling with two kids and really nervous how to get from this airport to Colombia hotel. This video made me feel better about the trip!
I'm glad everything went well. I'm going to do the same trip tomorrow with the family. Does each family member have a QR code to exit the gates? Thanks.
Thank you for the helpfull video. Next week i too also need to go from stansted airport to tottenham hale train station. But then i have to make the tube tickets from tottenham hale station to oxford circus. My question if you don't mind is where online i can do the tube tickets because it seems there is no website for it. Thanks again and hope i didn't make it too long
Thanks for your kind words. You don’t need a ticket - you can just pay with a contactless credit card or Apple Pay on your phone. You just ‘tap in’ and walk through the barriers - there’s staff there who can help you if needed 🤝
Very good video, watching march 2024 wrote the dates for two people and it is $52 pounds, it differs from what you got, can anyone tell me if the fares are more expensive now or am i doing something wrong, thank you.
stansted airport > liverpool street with greateranglia (the service advertised in this video), then get a circle line via tower hill (these depart on 'hammersmith and city, circle and metropolitan line eastbound platform) and alight at victoria, then southern service (some are faster, some are slower, i forgot which ones so check departure boards for more information, but i do know littlehampton train is fast) to esst croydon. for west croydon, just get a tram from east croydon
@@destinationwellknown Thanks, I will book National Express, however how can I get to Southwark Station from Ryedale? is there any Tubs at that time or Bus?
I read in google reviews that if you return with the train you need to pay 80£ fee bc the system is no connected with London. Is that true? Im so scared about all the bad reviews and is my first time in London. Which is better Bus or train? Waiting for the comments 🥲
Hmm, I'm not sure if I understand what you mean here? Where do people return to? Please help me understand 🙌 The ticket is only valid on the Stansted Express, so when you're changing at either Tottenham Hale or Liverpool Street St, you must tap in with your phone (Apple Pay works), an Oyster Card or a Travelcard. But you can't really go wrong because you can't "get in" to the tube system without a ticket.
I think Stansted Airport is not TfL transport-for-london area. so you can not use oyster cards - yet. a specifik ticket is needed. This guy explains it: ua-cam.com/video/E-c6b8A9pD0/v-deo.htmlsi=5rYS7hphi5ZSjoq8

Do not even try to use contactless or Oyster on the Stansted Exptess. Buy a ticket to avoid a big fine. You may use a card to pay for the ticket.
Yep, it's never been possible to use Oyster or Contactless on this route 🤝
Any other things we should be aware off. Plan to fly out from Dublin in Sept and stay in London.
Super clear, very helpful. Thanks so much for creating this video !
Thank you 🙏
thank you very much You helped me a lot
Thanks for your comment 🙌

The best
thank u great!
Nice that what I need 😜
Brilliant 🙌
MERCI
Does the trains also run at night or evening?😊 To and from the airport?
Unfortunately not. You can find the timetables here: www.stanstedexpress.com/travel-information/timetables/
Is it possible to get the National express ? I'm staying near paddington station and I thought it would be more convenient
Yep, they run right outside of the airport 🤝 But they can take quite a while if the London traffic is bad…

I need the best direction from Stansted airport to Croydon. Any suggestions?

So do I just scan out?
Yep
What if my flight arrive after 12 a.m?
Then I'd suggest getting the National Express bus down to London.
Do not try to use Oyster or contactless on the
Stansted Express. You will get a very big fine.
Buy a ticket.
You can’t use Oyster or Contactless on the Stansted Express ✌️
I need to get to this airport at least at 4am can anyone be so kind to tell me how to get there at that time on a Sunday
Bus 👌 National Express are reliable in my opinion

@@danlopez3774 Yeah, there must be a night bus at least. Check the route on Google Maps or in the Citymapper app 👍

trains are less reliable, but more comfortable. buses are better for short journeys.
