Well, it was nice to be featured in this video as I rarely speak/show my face but there were definitely some funny moments when filming this LOL! For example we both kept messing up but we managed to get on it. I hope to be featured again soon!
Its a great form of transportation - quick and comfortable. Only issue is how uncomfortable it becomes when the bus is on a regular road, very bumpy and loud haha
@@GTransit route 1 is one of my favorites since it has more comfortable seats and the journey time is long (approx 1hr) and the 5 7 8 9 has a nice kick down on the mmc’s (ex-Allison I think) . Yutong routes : 11 , 30 , 39 , 40 ,41 ,42 and 50 are one of the best since there the only electric buses and have air-conditioning .
When in Cambridge on a short weekend city break, I had the opportunity to check out these buses in Cambridge as they ran right next to the hotel I was staying in- it’s a very cool system, I must admit, and a very cool video 😎
Once again great video Godwin! It was very nice to watch especially with you out of London and the bus way looks amazing it's like if it's a bus turning into a tram so as always keep up those fantastic videos and I cant wait for the next one
Another decent video mate, if you want to do more videos outside of London I’ve got a idea for you and that’s the Manchester Guided Busway that the Vantage routes run on, I think there’s the V1/V2/V3 & V4 the last time I checked so yeah there’s an idea for you if your interested in it
The electric bus at the end is a mellor sigma run by whippet they do the u1 and u2 for Cambridge uni and they are special as there are only 9 of them made that length and shape and the bus fleet number was WG119. yellow and blue decker fleet number WD446 has definitely seen better days and also you have ether WG110 or WG111 at Huntington bus station.
Thanks so much for watching! The intro I used a new mic which was VERY sensitive to say the least so that may appear louder than the rest of the video, except the intro the rest should be okay!
Its great to see people not Focusing london and other cities like Cambridge, If you do want to go See different transportation i’ve got to say the midlands or yorkshire are the best choices I’ve been to nottingham, leicester, derby nottingham and i must say there bus transportation is top quality they also provide announcements for bus stops for the next busses
I agree with this! Yes London has an excellent transport network but it’s good to explore out of London as not a lot of creators do that, so it gives more diverse and different videos! What routes would you recommend in those areas or are all amazing? Thanks so much for watching!
I remember when I was a boy in Birmingham we had one of these for some unknown reason Birmingham got rid of this I am no longer living in Birmingham I came to London in 1983
Yes, B’ham’s experimental Tracline65 guided busway ran successfully from 1984-87, using specially adapted MCW Metrobuses running between the city centre and Short Heath. Deregulation and competitors who didn’t want to use guided buses killed it off. Duplicate stops were added beside the 600yd guideway and it was soon abandoned. Almost no trace of it remains today.
@@390h8eryes I remember it's slightly I remember the the silver and black buses but never travel on it has I lived in stechford at that time I am sad to hear that lea hall bus garage is gone such happy times for me to watch all the buses go into the garage and out it was such a fascination as a young boy trains was not my number one subject

Ah I see! Thanks so much for watching! I had a pleasant experience nonetheless!
Wow, just seeing Cambridge and their buses makes me want to visit there someday and view it. Nice video with Zachary!
Thanks so much for your support!!
Like your vids , good thing that you’re expanding your boundaries in transport . You should try Nottingham (in the midlands)
Couldn’t agree more nottingham does have good transportation but most of the midlands have top tier quality
Thanks so much for watching! Do you have any routes you would recommend me do in Nottingham?

Great video Godwin! Zachary also said things that I never knew!
Thanks so much for watching! Yes Zachary has such good knowledge on the Busway, he was even teaching me some stuff 😂

@@GTransit no problem you should jump on one and take a ride they are really nice buses
Nice video Godwin! I’m having a few issues with sound quality tho so I don’t know whether it’s you or me, but it’s still a great video.
We actually had issues using the mics so it was us.
Thanks so much for watching! The intro I used a new mic which was VERY sensitive to say the least so that may appear louder than the rest of the video, except the intro the rest should be okay!
Wow it looks like a tram line
Yeah! It was so fascinating but an exciting experience riding these buses!

23:40 so that'll be a Mellor Sigma 12, very rare and I believe these are the only route in the country that has them.
Oooh, thanks for letting me know that, it definently looks like a different bus than what I’ve ever seen, perks of going outside of London haha!
Well thats wierd even though there is a place in london called "Cambridge Heath Station"
Yeah! Those were my exact thoughts actually but it’s in London!!
Can you do a review on the metrobus in Bristol?
Maybe!
Mate I live in Cambridge and it is good but the busses are late most times thank you and are you going to the Cambridge south station opening
I might be! Thanks so much for watching!

DUBLIN BUS HAVE THE ALX500 3 AXEL
👀
They dont have ALX500s as those are exclusive to HK. Dublin bus however have B9TL Enviro 500s.
