It’s fun to see Dee Dee personality evolve in interviews. At first he has kind semi-serious but still light and fun but I get the impressions that he got bored of interviews and answering the same questions over again so he started playing a caricature of himself and got silly. Johnny has 6 years, 10 months left before dying from prostate cancer

Celebrity people are all childlike because they pay people to be substitutes for parents and musicians especially have a lifelong party. As a teen I thought Cobain was really cool as. 51 years old looking back at his interviews he came across a petty weak guy with a bad attitude. I’d love to see him today but I doubt he’d be the man Krist is or Grohl who is still childlike. The daft argument between the sex pistols and ramones really shows how immature both the ramones and lydon/viscious were/are. The other pistols moved on and matured but the ramones and John lydon never matured past 17

Have always loved the Ramones; the early stuff, like we all have. But this is woeful. Patently there were issues that the lads were unable to resolve; greater financial reward for their endeavours would have undoubtedly helped, I suspect. Still, I'm blessed with the experience of waking up still pissed (that means drunk) on the couch, with a Converse foot print on my face from the Ramones mosh pit although it had yet to be christened the 'mosh pit' in such halcyon days. Will always, always love them. It was 1981, London. But I was pissed, after all. Just to make sure, saw them at least ten times again. And that's what always I loved about the Ramones; they performed, each and every time. Without fail. No exception. The consummate professionals. Some other subsequent bands, Pixies, Nirvana, Hanoi Rocks who I saw several times could be a lottery as to the quality of what was given to the crowd. The Ramones? always 11 out of 10 and I must have seen them over ten times. Respect. Respect. Respect.

I love Joey's quote at the end: *"Some people commit suicide, some people just hang in there like us."*
Good to know Mark and Joey made up later. Marky seems to be reserved , doing his best to alleviate the situation. Seems like Joey is the more cranky one. And it seems to me like Howard is just fueling their dispute, which really pisses me off. CJ and Johnny are quite cool here being just clear and down to earth. Well, basically Johnny's just not saying alot here, but it's surprising that he's sitting next to Joey. Sometimes i have the feeling, that this hate against each other is more like a pushed up legend thing and in fact they didn't really hate each other that much, but just couldn't get along the whole time. They seem to have respect for each other and Johnny's also respecting Joey's privacy about their feud about Linda. Maybe Johnny didn't even wanted to fight with him, but imagine playing in a band with these guys and being on tour nonstop for over 20 years: No privacy, routine, jetlag, sitting in a van for most of the time with nothing to do, just like Marky said. After a while you just get sick. These guys made the best out of it as best as they could and i really admire that. I have more respect for Joey, Dee Dee, Tommy, Marky, Richie, CJ and Johnny now than before, even if I don't share the latters political views at all.
    Btw: Fuck Howard Stern.
