- Tuning modern BMWs continues to get easier and better. Not too long ago tuning new BMW models came with it's limitations. 1. You would have to send the car's DME overseas to get it unlocked and 2. You wouldn't get any of the new tuning features available for older, non locked DME cars. Now, even the newer models have all the latest features, so I decided try it all out on my BMW G87 M2.

MHD need for it stage 1-2-3 depending on the other parts in the bimmer.
Down pipes, bigger cooler, hybrid turbo, ceramic brakes, cold air intake, etc etc

I've been using MHD for years on my B58 and never had an issue plus the car freaking flies. The E-maps are amazing. Dragy times confirm that and people can't believe it's an OTS map. Tbh I never used a battery charger and 99% of the times the flash is succesful. Maybe once it got stuck at 99% but reflashing fixed it.
edit: the mapswitching is amazing too. The E% content on the pump I go to is quite consistent so it's handy when I wanna switch between 93oct or i.e. an e40 map

@@branden9998 idk if mhd does b48, but either way if it's a g42 you'll need a femto unlock first before you can flash any tune
So does this mean your warranty is voided? Being thelat bmw says they can see if you tuned ya car even if you put it back to stock before brining it to them?
yeah, but you still have warranty on the car like if something breaks that isn't related to the tune.

Depends on the platform. I use MHD for the most part however.
Would you ever get tuned by Sameh or is Shoup your one and only go to for all engines?
Shoup has been my only tuner so far.

You need a voltage regulator/stabilizer like an APP to keep the voltage at 12v not a battery charger, but it's not gonna drain in 10 seconds anyways, unless the battery been in there for 8+ years. and was giving you problems beforehand. Do you have to keep the mhd in the obdII port or your flash doesn't stay flashed? Im confused why does the universal adapter have the auto shutoff feature?
Auto shut off is a feature incase you want to keep it plugged in to the obd port. That way it doesn't drain your battery.
Once you flash the car you can unplug it.
how long did it take you to get your DME back?

How do the continentals hold up? Do they hook? And is it the dws06? Looking into getting some new tires

Did you get your money back for the dahler one? I know these tunes are like $6,000 and the dahler is only $1,900 I wanted to start small then move up like you but don’t want to waste the dahler money if I can’t return it or sell it or whatever
