    Nothing wrong with how you are doing it, It works. But the Placement stich, tach down, and applique are already there you just have to separate them and rearrange them. 1st create the text in applique font. 2nd Break up Text. 3rd select a single letters applique layer and break up path. Repeat for the rest of the letters. 4th ungroup the run, run, applique. Repeat for the rest of the letters, now you can cut and paste or drag the Placement runs, and Tach down runs, and Applique together. Now it will stich out like it should in the first place. Will drop all placement stitches, then tach down and you can program the machine to frame out like normal in-between.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Рік тому

      Makes perfect sense. I have to try it. Same color or do you need to change the color of the tack down and placement to assign different commands to them?

    • @elevated-apparel
      @elevated-apparel Рік тому

      I was just about to type that its already applique file he just has to break it up like he did at 10:30. use the drop arrow next to the name and it should show you the different colors, I use wilcom ES but its still the same process except I can have it do a frame out for the fabric.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Рік тому

      Thank you. When you add those commands in the software the machine is supposed to do it but in my case it doesn’t I always have to add the commands on the machine so I have to make them different colors so I have something to add the command to. I’ll try again to see.

    Question for the ‘em-1010 hoop.
    Can you make a video with the widest hoop it takes, Loaded up with a pull over hoodie going to the side instead of vertical. Just to see if there’s a way to maximize the embroidery from 12 x 8 instead of 8 x 12. If this makes any sence.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Рік тому

      I don’t think that calls for an entire video. I assume you want to know the max size the em-1010 can embroider. It says that in the specs of the machine and also comes with a hoop that allows you to embroider as large as it can go. 23.6”L x22”W. Maybe I’m not understanding so correct me if I’m not understanding your question.

      Thanks for for the reply and sorry for the late response. A pullover hoodie, the only way to load it, how I scene it from your last video is load from the buttom not from the head part. Now my question is how could we load a pullover hoodie from left to right instead of up and down. That way I’m trying to maximize the actual embroidery from ◀️▶️ so my image would be on its side instead of 🔼🔽. Thanks again love your videos bro I’ve been following you for awhile now. Great work

    Hi! Alan thanks for the video, but I believe one could have assigned the 3 stitches in the software one thread color, and then had the embroidery machine set to pull the frame out to place the fabric down after the 1st tack down. Then pull the frame out a 2nd time to cut the fabric after the fabric tack down all while using 1 color thread. Please comment. Thanks!

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Рік тому

      All while using one color for the placement, tack down and satin stitch? Three consecutive colors. No, can’t be done. If all the stitches are the same color you can only select one color on the machine and you can’t assign several different commands to one single color.

    • @marygorham7885
      @marygorham7885 Рік тому

      Hi! Alan Sorry!! I’m just getting back late to this reply. But maybe it can’t be done on the Ricoma’s. I have a Bernina E16 made by Melco which is a 16 needle Embroidery Machine, and it does allow me to use just one color thread for the placement, tack down stitch, and the satin stitch if I CHOOSE to have the satin stitch the same color. So, YES!! It can be done. All 3 stitches can be done with 1 color thread at least using The Bernina E16 made by Melco. Which is the same machine as the Melco EMT 16X - I’ve had mine over 8 years. Mine was purchased through a Bernini Dealer and not Melco they partnered with Bernina.
      Thanks for the reply.

      I’m sorry Mary. I though this was a Ricoma video and we were talking about what I did in the video. I didn’t know i made a video talking about your melco. Oh ok. Understood. Can your Melco embroider anything without a computer connected to it?

    • @marygorham7885
      @marygorham7885 Рік тому

      Oh! Don’t be sorry!, but I’m sure you have the answer to that question; therefore why would you ask a question knowing you know the answer too!. Maybe being sarcastic!!!! But, however no more than that new Siser cutter you just got “The Romeo”. Can you run that cutter without a computer? I THINK NOT. But that’s just today’s technology would you say. A computer is needed for every craft that we do with whatever machine that we use. Even using your Ricoma Machines you can’t stitch YOUR digitized designs without loading it from a computer to your Ricoma machines. Yes! Maybe the built in designs on the Ricoma you can stitch without a computer which them designs general are no use to the owner for the most part. So Really you need a computer with your Ricoma as well, so we both need a computer to use our Embrodiery machines to our satisfaction. Would you say!! Thank for the reply.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  Рік тому

      @@marygorham7885 No. that’s not correct. Your machine can’t run at all without a computer. Even after digitizing. I can load files on my machine with tons of Embroidey designs and have at it all day with no computer. You gotta yell the full story not just buts and life’s is my point. The entire story is that a melco machine does not embroider independently at all without a computer. The Ricoma does. You can’t compare the two because If your computer goes down you can’t embroider at all so when it comes to appliqué and being able to program a one color thread design I’m not to concerned. I would much rather have an embroidery machine that is not dependent on a computer. It like a half embroidery machine. The don’t have any brains. The computer and the software on your Comintern are their brains so programming a stitch isn’t very impressive considering is my point. No shots I’m just saying since we are talking about Melco. We can walk about melco and the plastic build quality. Ricoma is solid metal. In can go on if you would like to compare machine but there isn’t much to compare. Melco’s deliver good quality stitches just like I’ve seen most machines deliver but not being able to run without a computer to me that’s not an embroidery machine. Maybe a half one. Melco has to do better.
