@CeeThecatmomHyundai is basically a "made in China" level of a car company. They just copy other car manufacturers designs and make them cheaper. Hopefully in a few more years they can rise above the fray like Toyota did
@@athenatorres8234 basically you can check if your car has a serious recall at the national highway and safety administration's website. they also do parts, and car seats. the 2016-2018 tuscon had an issue where a leak in the ABS module could cause an electrical short and start a fire. NHTSA recall number 20V543000 if you're interested. basically if there are no parts available, you can schedule for an appointment, and drive your car or ask nicely for a loaner (they don't legally have to give you one) if you have to drive your car and they refused a loaner and couldn't repair the recall get that in writing, you'll want to make sure you're covered in the event that something happens, you'll be entitled to compensation should you get injured as a result. just the understanding of you asking for it in writing might make them decide its a better idea to just loan you a car rather than risking liability in the event of an issue, but if not it still maintains it's original purpose.
At least the driver had the decency to find a suitable parking spot before he stopped and not block the road. Definitely not been set on fire by the owner of that land that has placed rocks to stop people parking on his land.
I have a 2015 Hyundai Tucson.... Had multiple issue with it when I bought it used. Bought it when it had only 28,500 miles and had to have a new AC installed, new gas tank installed as gas sensor wasn't detecting when tank was full from pumping gas in it.....display panel blacked out intermittently, digital fuel gauge was not accurate and would stay on 1 bar after I filled the tank with gas....... And the key fob works intermittently and then when I try and start it, it thinks I'm breaking into the car and alarm goes off and car will not start...... The last item on the above list of issues recently started again and had to have it towed to the dealership. They are charging my $250 just for diagnostic test and then whatever it cost to fix, if they can even figure it out. I think it's an electrical immobilization issue. And yes, I replaced the battery in the key fob. Bottom line, stay far away from any Hyundai cars. They just don't care enough to make a good reliable car anymore. They make lots of $$$ on repairs.
I purchased a 2021 Tucson , one of the safety features i like are the anti collision sensor as well of the 7 air bag on the interior, unfortunately i was in a accident which results in a total loss, believe it or not non of the airbags was deployed and the anti collision sensor in a medium sensitivity was not working as well. I would not recommend the brand at all. After inspection by Hyundai ingeniers they said that everything works normal lol even with the physical and obvious results. Please think twice before to decide to buy those brand. Also check the recalls that they have are a lot , and some of them related with safety features.👎🏻👎🏻
Hyundai doesn’t make good vehicles. This is quite common, and instead of recalling they just asked owners to park far away from buildings and other vehicles. You get what you pay for
Yeah but do we know what the driver of this vehicle has been doing? Or fiddling about with? Have they put a stupid remap on it? Have they serviced it well? Have they been driving it like they stole it? So many variables here.
he said the car is as is from factory so I’m assuming he had the original fuse for the abs system witch means in some cases it would cause an electrical fault in the wiring harness causing a fire witch I’m assuming is what happened by looking at the location of the fire because the fuse boxes are located on the inside at least they are on the Australian model and there is a good chance the guy was waiting to get the fuse replaced but couldn’t get it in because they didn’t have the parts that’s what happened to us and we had to drive around for 3 months waiting for Hyundai to get in there parts

I had 2 i30s, currently still own one. I also have an i40 and a Bayon. All our cars have been this brand for the last 15 years. The Bayon is new (2023) and I don’t like it that much, the suspension sucks. It rearranges internal organs if you go over a hump. But the older cars we have (2014 and 2016) are great. And I hear that my friend who has a new VW Polo also has the same issue with the suspension so maybe it’s all new cars that have to be lighter for the emission standards, impacting suspension.
