I finally had a chance to watch your videos again. I've never used Bujo because of The Happy Planner & Bujo has always seemed to cumbersome. I've been using a lot of stamps in my HP lately & also joined Catherine Pooler's Club Canvo. Over the weekend, I decided to look at more Bujo videos, but it wasn't until seeing your videos with Alastair Method that I wanted to give it a try. I pulled out some HP dot grid pages & followed your instructions. I loved how you set those pages up. I think incorporating this method in my HP is a great idea, especially for neurodivergent brains like mine. I already set up & started using weekly morning & before bed routines. I'm going to work on the rest this week! As usual, thank you for such great & creative ideas.

Thank you for this video. Just so you know, a quarter is 13 weeks (52 weeks divided by four).

Thanks for the feedback! I don't think I every thought to do the math on that, but that totally makes sense now that you mentioned it.

Thanks a lot for a highly informative and inspirational video. I'm about to start a BuJo and you showed me the importance of using FriXion pens. Only one problem. I really hate the black one. All the other colours are fine but the black? 🤢 Guess I must face the situation. On the other hand, the black FriXion do have the same colour as a good pencil. So maybe I can accept that 😎
Edit: Added a note about pencils

Check out the Knock Ball frixion pen (direct from Japan). Here's an affiliate link: amzn.to/3qB69Jk
The ink barrel is metal and the ink is a bit more bold, which you might like better. A little more expensive but better in hand feel.

1:17 one way to make it easier to read is to take a very light highlighter and highlight every other column (or month) ... I also highlight every 5th row or task. It just helps keep my eyes straight. 💖🌞🌵😷

Love your functional ideas productivity series, these are my favorite of your videos! Could you do a functional ideas list using the pomodoro technique or a functional ideas video using weekly/monthly lists instead of daily planning? Thanks!

I love the Frixion pens, markers, highlighters but ink disappears if it’s in heat.

I've never had a problem with them though I know it is a concern for some. I've even left my planner in a hot car for a few hours...

The ink disappears at 60c (140F). So, I would not worry too much about it 😊

I love your efficiency and bujo videos! But please tell me what is the O in the meal planning list after Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snack - it’s driving me crazy 😂
Is it for overnight? Haaaalp please! 🤣🤣

😂 it stands for “other” ...for the things that don’t fit in the meal categories. 😉

I would love to do more bullet journalling, but have found setting up spreads from scratch, week after week, just isn't my thing. Plus I love how I can move pages around in the discbound system.
