- Learn to DIY a fruit leather tray or a tray to dry your dehydrated powders from these quick hacks. While this hack works for square and rectangular dehydrator trays, it can easily be modified for those who have square or rectangular trays with holes in the middle .
There are tutorials for those with circular trays, I just don't have a circular tray to show at the moment. I'll link one as soon as I find a good one.

Thank you, I needed this hack for my odd shaped dehydrator 3 years later!!
Also, the silver flaps of the binder clips can be removed after you've clipped it into place. Just don't lose them or you'll never be able to get them open!
Mind blown! I was today years old when I learned this. Thank you for this tip! This is going to be handy for all of those odd locations where I use these clips but need the metal part to "disappear."

I had to laugh, your phone sounds just like mine - even the caller ID sounds the same. I actually turned off the video to check the phone in the other room.... but it didn't ring again after I turned off the video. lol

is silicone sheet same with teflon sheet / silpat from fiber glass?
Teflon sheets are different than silicone sheets are different from silicone sheets embedded with fiberglass. You see a teflon coated sheet here, a silicone sheet is like a jelly roll mold or the green lipped dehydrator sheets vs the sheets that have embedded fiberglass like Excalibur sheets.

If I’m putting this in the oven do I still need to make this?
If your oven has fan, you want a little protection from this or a cookie sheet that has a good lip on it.
Can we use the foil pans?
Not recommended because acidic foods can react, and it can cause hot spots.
Has anyone tried this for liquids. Like a sauce?
Liquids are better to reduce some before drying - but yes, this works with liquids, too:

Did you find a way to make for circular trays or square holes in the middle? I like the little stapler idea.
Honestly, after trying a few, using individual coffee filters works best, in my opinion, or going ahead and investing in the round lipped trays that are available on the market now.
Just cut the coffee filters the height to clear next tray? If this works would cupcake papers or silicone cupcake bowls work too?
I thought this was teaching how to make fruit leathers.
