Curious if the tracing card alerts you when it needs to be recharged? Also, what does it mean when charging that the lights are an alternating red and green. Thanks.
4:39 How much does keeping it inside the (radio frequency blocking) Ridge wallet reduce the signal? I have yet to try it with any of my FindMy cards, but when I put a Tile card inside my ridge, it reduced the finding distance to less than 10’ and I basically had to be on top of it to connect, so I kept it in the band on the outside of the wallet and that significantly improved the distance. I can’t imagine the FindMy cards would be much different, so I didn’t even think to try to put a FindMy card inside the wallet and just kept the band as well…
What do you expect from a wallet that blocks radio signals? If you want to protect your RFID cards, use a RFID card sleeve. Or have the tracking card on the outside of the wallet.
Big Question what if you have an RFID wallet?! Will it blocks the signal from the tracking card and will affect the location accuracy of the device ? Wallet?
@@AkiraHDR50cheers for testing it now i know it blocks the card and it would be useless since i prefer RFID wallet in todays tech that anyone can easily stole info from your wallet.
My Chipolo is working well enough for me right now, but I love the fact that it's rechargeable over Qi (the Pebblebee is rechargeable but it uses pogo pins from what I can see). Once this one's battery dies out, I'll consider it.
I forget if the Peeblebee has wireless, but I have an Innway FindMy card and it has both wireless charging (I don’t know if it was intentional or just a coincidence, but it magnetically attaches to a MagSafe charger) as well as two little pads for their sold-separately pogo pin chip clip usb charger, so it could have both
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I am interested. $40 is a little high, maybe start around $25. But then maybe Apple is charging their 30% for it being able to work with Apple Find my, so they need to up the price.
All these tracking items are a waste of time IMO unless they have precision tracking. Surely people use these trackers to place in things that they want to then find if they are either lost or stolen? If they are seen by a thief they’ll just throw it away 😂 unless it’s well hidden.
at least you'll know it's at the restaurant. maybe not exactly where in the restaurant, but you can go back and retrace your steps. instead of wondering "is it in the car, what about my other pants?"
Really like the form factor but has you said it does not have precision tracking. Might consider it.
the AirTag Air

Yes it gives a 'Find my' notification saying the battery is getting low.
They’re website says it has a 5 month battery life when fully charged
That’s pretty sweet. They make it easy for wireless charging too. I’m definitely going to get this

Remind me later.
I've just ordered a RFID wallet with a tracking card I will test it and tell you when it turns up.😊
Update. is does block the card.

definitely picking one up once my chipolo card runs out of battery but it's still full charge after 2 years lol
That is brilliant!!

Huge Nomad fan as well. Had a Chipolo wallet tracker but crapped out on me pretty quick. Can’t wait to try these. Great video man 🙌🏽

Does an Apple Watch puck work for recharging?
I wish you showed if it would notify your phone if you walked away from it. I'd like to see that demonstrated
It 100% does. I get the notification every time I walk my dog 😂
@9to5mac
The link in your description to the Nomad card is broken.
said hi on the livestream. enjoying Overtime!
Excellent video. Please keep these product reviews coming. Love it!
That’s cool!
needs either: precision tracking for $40 or no precision tracking for $20.
Don't not have precision tracking option

The Fantom tracker card is thinner and costs even less.
Brilliant but needs to be $20 dollars - Maybe will pick it up during Black Friday.
Too bad there's no precise finding. I using a card with an embedded air tag.
So its only for iOS?
Back ordered and not shipping till August. Boo
So they should have made their credit card their tracking device instead?
Battery and speakers won’t fit a credit card but if they do, it’ll have issues swiping it.
Dude has all the tech, but no iron for his shirt..
Wrinkles for the win!
Who the hell irons regular t shirts? lol
Love yourself, but not your shirt. Lol
🤣🤣🤣
@@dfender57 and for scruffy people.
I much prefer being able to replace the battery!

150ft tracking... lol might as well tell me I'm never finding my wallet.

You can detect it up to 150 feet away. It's not like you lose your wallet at a restaurant and can track it like AirTags. It's pretty pointless.
It works with Find My, so I think it would function just like an Air Tag.
@@danvdr It won't. You can only add it to FindMy and locate it up to 150ft away.

This product is ridiculous, like "Tile".
Hey Fernando. What are the headphones around your neck. Thanks bud!
New Sonos Ace. Video review Monday!
