Love to see Val in the vlogs, she's such a natural and so funny!! So many new adventures ahead for you, so excited for you 😊
Holy heck this video has everything. Adventure, a little education, inspiration, and so much love. Absolutely loved every minute of it. Great job Justin, can't wait to see more.
Thanks Alyssa! Hopefully we've got more of that same vibe coming!
Dude I think you’re getting more than 50% decisions correct. Love you guys!
Aww thanks Sarah. Miss you!!!
You are such a cute adorable special family ..Gorgeous children..I love them both how beautiful an what a gorgeous start to the next chapter of your life ...precious memories thanku so much for sharing much love an God bless always x x x x x x x
I'm jealous 😢 I love your videos. Enjoy your new camper and have lots of fun! Thanks for the video.
Love the fun kid subtitles.
That’s a sweet truck and camper. I’m a big Cummins fan and currently have a 3rd gen. That 2nd gen with a 3” lift/level, rear air bags and some aggressive tires would be sweet! 👌🏽
Bro I sold it! Ugh it was so clean. But no payload for that camper plus flatbed, tools, bikes, boats etc. I really wanted the 3rd gen 3500. Turns out I needed it too!
@@MobileDwellingsseems like bags would have solved that problem. Got an 01 3500 in mint condition. Love it
Good for you guys, have fun you all
I would give my left kidney for travelling the states for a couple of months with that rig.
We camped in one of those for years back in the 70s, great family fun.
Nice rig! Makes sense. You can have many little, spur of the moment trips. 🎉❤
The timings was just perfect: Nice rig and still looks new. (Lucky). Now I am a little jealous. You got to do, what you have to do in keeping your family happy. Regards from South Africa 🇿🇦.
Too cute. Nice video.
Awesome guys congratulations 🎉💜🎉
"I only get about half my decisions right." Well, you got this one right. That combination will serve you well and still be one of the most desired camper truck combos available when you're ready to move on and almost no depreciation. I've owned two Bigfoots. 14mpg!! I get 12 even on hilly terrain in mine.
Nice camper, we bought a 10.2 Northern lite, but Big foot was our second choice.
Sweet dude 👍🏽👍🏽 the best of both worlds .
Congratulations guys 🥳
Nice video 👍🏼
I love this - that camper is surprisingly spacious inside! Brings back fond memories of being about Nova's age and camping in a little Viking pop-up. Is it crazy that while you guys were looking at the pink fire truck, I was looking at the little white bus across the street?
Good morning y'all, I apologize for last night. I think you're going to absolutely love the truck camper. Once a bedding situation is taken care of, lol. Thanks for bringing the closed captions back, you do awesome on that brother. Hope to see y'all doing a video soon, y'all take care and YHVH bless.
Nice video. I'm also a Bigfoot owner. I actually messaged Katherine about this and didn't know she had sold it to you guys but what I noticed was that there are a few auxiliary light covers missing on the nose of the front cabover towards the right. I suggest having them covered asap as moisture and rain water can enter through there. Good luck and happy camping!
Thanks for the heads up! We're actually camping with it now. We did move very fast once we saw it listed. We're enjoying it! I'll cover those marker lights. Thanks!
@@MobileDwellings You're welcome! Not only cover them but I highly suggest some Proflex clear caulk to seal them and the rest. They can pool up inside and water can get into the camper. I changed all of mine to LED especially inside too. Safe travels 👍
Congratulations!
Watched her video.
What a Surprise!
!
Hehe thank you!
These millennials know how to live the dream!! Two questions. First, what do you mean you only get about half your decisions right? If you end up learning something, no matter what it is, that's a score and a win in my book. But that's my answer, what's yours?? Second, when I first subbed a few months ago, you were fire fighting, and then you did that vid about your last shift, you said something to the effect of...I can't believe it's my last shift. It's been a couple weeks since that vid. I'm wondering if you miss being a fire fighter at all, and if this new life you've created with your fam has more then made up for it?
It's great to have the captions back again!! It's been a couple vids since you were doing that, and those were always a lot of fun to watch. Strong work bringing them back!!
Congratulations! Beautiful Bigfoot!
Thank you!
Nice new camper! I’ve been curious about this kind of camper vs. a van. At some point down the line (in a few years) I’m sure we will want to add some kind of smaller camper to our collection of vehicles 😉 . Nice to see you all looking so happy in your new tiny home
Now u can put the boot in between the back of the truck cab & front of camper. U will never have to go outside if a crazy stranger was trying to get inside around 3:00am. Crawl through the boot & then into the driver's seat and drive off.
Lol that was too cute! She was in the cupboard thing… ta the right of the bed. You know what I’m talking about.
It’s been too long! 😂
I’m glad y’all are on doing relatively well considering everything you’ve been through… it’s definitely been a journey…
Bigfoot gang!!
I saw your latest thumbnail and followed you today! Excited to see what you've got going on when I get the chance. I literally saw the back of a Bigfoot and subbed haha.
U have a beautiful family dude
I have same truck camper set up. Got the v10..would luv the diesel
Came for the camper. Liked for the babies.
get air bags for the truck. Check into it. I have a Lance 950 on my 1996 F350 and air bags made it just that much better. Hope to see you guys on the road. God Bless
Thanks for the tip! Would love some airbags!
I love that you spontaneously drove to the beach to cook dinner!!
So my question is did you meet the girl who had the camper for the tour and then decided to buy it? Or did you go there to buy it and then decided to do a tour video with her? Just curious.
Love the ending!!
We saw it for sale, saw it was close by and decided to go see it fairly confident it would be right for us and we'd buy it. We especially thought it would be fun to film a tour with a surprise ending!
Lol u gotta back into spots
Did you have to do something to suspension?
Nice rig. Similar to my setup. Curious, have you weighed the truck and camper to find out how much over GVWR you are?
I like how he said alright family and it actually means family and not some word to sound cool like black guys do
Nice truck! How did you fit the kids back there? Usually need a crew cab to fit carseats in the back seat of a truck…
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Do you have airbags on the back? I have a similar truck with the 6.5ft bed
Planning on buying a slide in camper soon but with my new suspension (softer than stock) I’ll have to get bags. Curious what to expect haha.
The bigfoot camper model weigh about 4200 lbs fully loaded, and the that truck payload is only 3768 lbs. However, it seems to be running around fine for all these years! Do you guys ever had issues due to the payload?
there are several different models of the bigfoot, all specced differently. Ours weighs under 3,000 lb's but that is also right at our trucks gvwr with 4x4 and a diesel. like you said the truck does handle the camper well but eventually i want to add more weight than it can handle so I don't think this is our forever truck.
I saw ur chickens
So u farm and travel?
How do u do that?
It's a nice rig! But PLEASE do not let. your kids play on the ladder. One fall could be tragic. 13 mpg is very good for a rig that size and weight and probably 4-5 mpg better than a gasser. I have never had a Diesel ,but lots of Gas Trucks and they usually get about 14 mpg EMPTY! The Cummins is awesome. The older Dodge Tranny's paired with the 5.9... not so great. Check it out... Relative burned through 3 Tranny's in 180K. The motor can be too powerful for the Tranny's spec'd. I hope/think they have fixed that by now.
💕👍
Hey Bro, out of curiosity how much did the set up cost you if you dont mind me asking?
I think I paid 27K for the pair.
Did those two shells just have the xes? Ain't right.
Two shells?
@@MobileDwellings sand crabs?
@@southernrebel159 oh now I get it haha.
Did you sell this rig?
Isn't your payload on that dodge about 2200? And that camper about 3000? I've got the same truck in a 3rd gen and stuck with a big pop up because of the low payload number.
Pretty sure payload was about 2800 and camper was right around there. But yeah I sold it because is couldn't add the weight I needed to the truck.
I hope that dodge tranny doesn’t explode. I had that one and it only lasted 112000 miles.
What the payload on the truck?
2916 Lb's. Camper dry weight is 2,200 so I don't have much wiggle room. If I could pick the perfect truck it would be 2004 dodge ram Cummins 3500 SRW 4x4 quad cab with a flatbed and storage. If we like the truck camper setup long term I'll move to that.
@@MobileDwellings yeah makes sense, nice rig ya got either way
@@MSB1080 thanks! If you compare it to what others are spending on a 4x4 rig its kind of amazing. The Bigfoot isn't the slickest but it's very well made.
You're way over the payload package of a 2500.
THE TRUCK CAMPER IS PERFECT, HATE THE TRAILER CONNECTION.
With 2 kids ? nope, nope and NOPE !!!
Lol you're right. We sold it. Too small. Back to the bus.
Huge...really? lol
Um what I miss boss????
