- My review of Redbreast Missouri Oak. The latest addition to Redbreast’s American Oak series, seamlessly blends the signature Redbreast single pot still whiskey profile, aged in sherry and ex-bourbon barrels, with the unique and distinctive influence of Missouri Oak. The whiskey was meticulously finished for ten months in Virgin Missouri Oak barrels, the oak sourced from the esteemed Ozark Forest, to bring a captivating twist to the renowned Redbreast liquid.

Found it in Connecticut this week for $120 after taxes. Great review. Cheers!
That’s a great price!! Love to hear what you think!
Total Wine wants 200 for this. I just found this at a local liquor store for 114.99 so decided to try it. Very nice, not sure it’s worth over 100 but what is these days in whiskey. Great review! Cheers
Thanks! It’s really a good whiskey but the msrp is crazy! $115 is a good price. It’s expensive to get whiskey here from Ireland and I do think it’s worth a little extra. But it’s definitely not worth $200.
I absolutely loved the Kentucky Oak so was hugely disappointed by the insane pricing of the Missouri Oak.
Fortunately a bourbon friend of mine in a different region of country came across the RB MO at a great price and picked me up some.
Now have to plan a trip to visit him 😂
I agree, the pricing is really bad and there’s no reason for the big increase. Glad you found a bottle at a good price!
Bourbon meets Woodford Reserve...? Sounds really interesting (as it should be for the price!)
It’s the first Irish Whiskey that’s reminded me of a specific Bourbon. Considering Woodford Double Oaked is $56 and Kentucky Oak was $120, I don’t expect it to fly off shelves.
I'm looking...
I really like RB Missouri Oak but not at the price. I wish it was more in the realm of PX.
That was my thinking as well. It’s a good whiskey but not $200 good.
$115 in NJ
That’s a great price!
I refused to bring RB Missouri into the store at 199.99
Hard to justify $200 msrp
I still have 6cs of Kentucky Oak just sitting here at 101.99 the prices in the Irish market are forcing me to do special orders only on bottles
Too many Irish at premium on the premium for their bottles. RB is one of the worst offenders, and $200+ just won't happen.
Agreed. I could understand the price from a smaller brand with a smaller release but it’s hard to justify with IDL considering the last release was $80 less. Shame really, it’s a good whiskey.
Monetarily this is positioned against a Barry Crocket. WTF? That's not happening.
This is available in my town for $130
