Can't really call it "poor man's pappy" mixing a couple of $200 bottles, but I appreciate Dan mixing them for us. PS - we subscribe because we love YOU Dan, not the awful bitter vampire.
No. Absolutely not. $200 per bottle... Even if you were to get it at retail price which will never happen, paying for something that's just "fine" or "good" is unacceptable.
@@WestCoastWhiskeyDude I know! My god… Anything Buffalo Trace releases is obviously going to sell but COME ON. that’s just insulting. The Junkies should blind these with some standard (and available!) fare they love.
I think for these it's not about the taste it's about the history of taste. If you want to experience what your great grandfather drank, which there isn't a huge market for, you're gonna have to pay.
I have 2 different versions of the original prohibition Golden Wedding and they are absolutely phonomenial. I can't wait to try this series and compare them
@BourbonJunkies I am really impressed by the humility of Dan admitting the Traveller mistake. Not only right out of the gate but also informing of us of a plan to correct the mistake - going front to back and back to front; admitting mistakes and learning from mistakes. To think I ever was in doubt. I just subscribed. Good kids. Good kids....Also, for the edification of everyone else: let me save you the trouble - don't every buy a buff trace product. I am a recovering tater and lucky enough to have a high budget. I've bought them all, and all of them are mediocre compared to so much whats going on - craft, NDP, farm-to-bottlers. We live in the Golden Age of bourbon. Trust me, Buff Trace is for tourists. Order it out on date night with the Mrs. but you are missing nothing not buying a bottle. Cheers!
wait, so if these aren't dusties how are they 1K? combination of BT said so and limited release? edit: ah, i see. you're paying for the collection so they can renew some trademarks
As soon as they said old stagg was one of minnicks favorites i knew they would either love it or hate it. Id pay 75 for the entire lineup. $15 a 375ml. And id have to think about it because buffalo trace consistently disappoint me.
That casual $1,000 infinity blend at the end was wild.
When are we getting the whiskey war of: Double Eagle Very Rare, Weller Millennium and Eagle Rare 25?
Had DEVR yesterday. It's not that good. Haha. 🤷🏼♂️
BT has jumped the shark on this one. I think they're trying to burst the bourbon bubble with one release. Hahahaha
Thank goodness for daddy Nick
Got to take care of the kids you know?

Nick Jones, AKA the Midland Mac Daddy
This is THE way to taste these bottles…on someone else’s bill. Way to go gents!

$200 for a 375ml bottle at that.

Okay, gotta ask. What's the phallic bottle on the bottom shelf in between them?
“I’m Harry Potter dude” LMAO 😂
Well at least there was one good part to the video... #TeamCookie
The price is insane on this benchmark set lol
I cannot believe the price on this set.
You should create a video on your ranking system and what goes through your mind when picking a number!

Now try them against a regular BT product. Shoulda put something generic in there!
Wow, didn't even know they existed 🥃👍

Imagine paying $1000 for this set
Old Stagg vs Benchmark FP
No sample of $7,000 Weller Millennial? I am gonna hold out for Weller Tech Bro and Weller Lambo.
Weller gen z is gonna be WILD

Dude what’s Dan’s lowball glass with water in it? It’s looks like seeded glass or something
You guys never answered the question, but I already know the answer
got the willet 4 year rare rye for $60 and worth every penny. Be Pissed if i spent $200 for burnt rubber
"There`s nothing wrong with it"
"**** you"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pretty cool pack of old mashbills. The price tag is a bit suspect. I'd pay 200-250 tops. And that's for the awe factor. Just my opinion.
Fun concept, $200 per bottle though 🥴
Nick probably went ahead and grabbed a couple cases of those…you know, just in case😂
Another review of whiskeys no one can afford or get

Hey guys, where can I get those T-shirts?
Tasting room
Why do we have to rank them. Just tell us it's a** whiskey and a great gimmick...
How long has Devr been on the wall?
Month maybe?
No, but i'll still watch the video.
Money grab
All I'm hearing is SHIT AINT WORTH IT but if you like it then do it
Count me out.
😂😂😂😂😂 no 😂😂😂😂😂 That being said it’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
Another gimmick from who else but BT...🤔🤨😖 $1000 ?!? 🤣
Is there a bottle of whiskey these guys can’t get?
That was a bad video boys. I love you.
Un-subbed/re-subbed button...for science.
Same 😂
Idk if they've earned it back yet. We'll see what the future holds.
Edit: I unsubbed last week...
Noice lol
Sounds like it's not worth it for yall if the opportunity to buy was there, and open/drink!
It’s cool to have. But agreed. Not worth 1K. Except to look at
Yeah as soon as they said they were given carte blanche to kill the bottles its apparent they are not worth the price.
@@applecrow8 Think that was a joke
BT is back to "hard to find" status here in Florida pretty much State wide.
Which part of the state do you live in? I can find Buffalo Trace all day in the Tampa area
Walmart gets it every couple months. $23 for a 750ml. Its around enough to always have a backup for me.
Yeah Tampa has them easy to find. Also spotting the BT Kosher Wheats and Ryes popping up right now also.
Not state wide i live i fl and see it on a regular basis in my area .actually pretty easy to get for me in the past year or so .
I live in Daytona beach area and you can find it. Not easy but somewhere in between easy and hard to find.
anti-CLIMACTIC!!!
The worst 2 whiskey guy's out there! I have whiskey older then theses 2 🤡s
Old man alert.
Lol arent u guys in ur early thirties? Hes acting like ur 17@BourbonJunkies
