I think Heidi saying she has lost her peace and joy there really hit home. I think we’ve seen many queens feel that and try to push through and we’ve seen them break. If Heidi didn’t feel like her art was being appreciated, then she has every right to leave.
Tbh it's great that they were able to leave! I might be misremembering but there's been shows that just didn’t let the people leave and they suffered from it
On ANTM, they were allowed to quit, but they were guilt tripped like a mofo by tyra in the end.
I know she isn’t a rugirl, but I gotta give props to Melissa BeFierce deciding to quit Dragula Titans(which was on the same week as Icesis quitting)

Let's just think about how big of a decision this is. These queens spent so much time and money on drag plus they've cancelled or refused bookings just to be on the show.

Please do not send any hate towards these queens. Mental health matters, ok? It takes lot's of work and stress to be in a environment like drag race. The amount of backlash you can receive by saying or doing one small thing can break a person and their emotional state can just drop immediately. So if it's their choice to quit, then it's theirs.
Cute, but then stay home and let someone else who wants to go through that stress go there

@@Simbaninogaming It is not that they take away a place from someone, for them they are there and many are not, many know that it is a stress to be in that show, for something or many do not return to an all stars because of the amount of things that happen the same behind the camera that we do not know but it is easy to judge
Ever since Adore left All Stars 2, I have always said that true bravery is knowing when to walk away from a situation that isn't right for you, regardless of what people may say.
That hasn't changed in all this time.
People need to stop blaming the queens and instead consider how they got to this point.
Most of them had personal battles that tainted their experience, but most of them have also cited that the pressure of the show and the expectations placed upon them was too much to bear.
We could all stand to be a little bit kinder.
I agree, these ladies are already so talent, of course leaving this behind to step out that door requires such bravery and determined decision. We all need to care about our mental and physical health first

After watching Heidi, it completely proved my point about this season. It’s not production, editing nor judging… this season there are a couple “queens” that are just drama and it’s tired. They way they piled on Heidi and Alexis Hell… I would’ve done the same. *THIS* is why I don’t like the “reality” aspect of this show… I prefer to just see Queens showcase their talents and *THAT’S IT.*

As someone who knows what my headspace gets like in a competition, I completely understand why some people *need* to leave DR, especially when production makes it a toxic space

Literally all of them quit for GOOD and reasonable reasons. Fuck the demons lurking and fuck the toxicity that lures, & then add being filmed for a TV show. They all had legit reasons except maybe Shannel.
Adore: can’t be herself without a well-known acquaintance attacking her to suite television, only because she’s on the judging panel. Girl, drag can be interpreted and showcased however as long as it’s entertaining, and the world needs to know that.
Icesis: personal things going on. Can’t always publicize shit, especially immediately. Our mind fucks with us sometimes, and if we gotta check out, check out.
Inti: she was literally being racist towards. Like FOREAL. Her outfit was miles better than Sagitaria(being Spanish) but she (Sagitaria) got praised for her cream colored fit, that complemented her skin.
Heidi: I mean the poor thing had to have felt alone. Kandy is good at getting into people’s heads; also, her size and loud voice are intimidating. Heidi had been wanting to quit due to unfair judging and this was the straw that broke the camels back.
Bendela: girlllll. She did the thing. Fuck the rules. This is an example of ‘you’re dammed if you do, you’re dammed if you don’t’. She wasn’t comfortable sending her sisters home and then she was being criticized by bitches like Kennedy saying, “girl maybe power ain’t for you” who also said “track record doesn’t matter”. Bendela left that toxicity and looked boss doing it.
Ginny & Baby: 2 UK queens with so much to offer and so talented who could have gone so far. They respectively decided it was time to go and both in different matters on the main stage. Loved it. So much respect.

Sometimes this setting isn't worth it, and no amount of money is worth any stress or sadness.
These queens deserve the world, it takes a lot of courage to admit the situation is unhealthy, especially when the cameras are watching you.

Wow, its just so perfect that this video ended with Rajah’s confessionals, I kinda teared up a little bit.
We all need to respect the hard work and dedication these queens go through on this competition and especially just being in front of the camera, and that takes a lot of commitment. We all don't know what one goes through mentally. Yes we see what goes on with what production caught but in the end we literally DO NOT KNOW what one goes through mentally.
There are many that can pull through the competition, and preach and say it was very easy for them to thrive in the competitive environment. That's their thing.
And of course there aren't many that can go through with it and/or just need to keep working on themselves and that's literally okay!! Some of y'all, the nay sayers who see this, we don't care if "your friends went through this and they said it was simple" or literally think you know the show from inside and out. These queens KNOW what happens front and behind the camera we don't.
We are viewers not experts.

We have to take in consideration that those are young performers who have day jobs and are underpaid and overworked most times to let their light shine!
