To this day, and I’m 51years old, I consider Botch to be the most important/most referenced/most inspirational/most uniting/most disregarded:
Post-Metal
Post Hardcore
Post-I thought I liked “music”
“Thing” I’ve ever encountered.
Their ingredients defy description. Their risks are legend. Their legacy is yours, with only modicum of investigation…ask around. Take notes. Botch is more that a band.

I sat at a merch table somewhere.. around 1997. A few people were looking through records. The kid next to me found this one. It was like he found the Holy Grail. He was literally holding it to his chest. I told Mike Phyte the story.
