Traptrix was one of the first decks i made. Now it has reached its final form!

Today i played a mirrormatch with Traptrix and that’s also the most painful thing i ever felt

yeah mirror control deck match ups are painfully long
FYI for people interested in this deck IRL, You can literally build this with 3 structure decks and the deck Dkayed shows at 14:20 can literally be played in TCG (Bystials not needed though since Tear is dead in TCG)
Only cards that might be slightly pricey for you is the Zeus ($12 USD), Imperm ($11~13 USD each), Aromaseraphy Jasmine ($19 USD).
what meta in TCG now its been a while I not follow up
i don't think the rikka package (rikka, jasmine, sacred) or zeus is really needed. sure, it makes the deck better, but to test it out or just play for fun, you can probably cut those. just add some more traptrix into the extra. similarly the imperms could probably be replaced with other trapholes, at least to test the deck, though those are probably much more important as they hate on basically everything.

Pretty similar to Master Duel, minus Maxx "C" (since it's banned in TCG), and Ishizu Tearlaments were completely butchered and has been rendered as a rogue fun deck right now which only a few plays these days so in TCG, you do not have to worry about Tearlaments.
There is no Tier 0 deck right now, but Kashtira is the most represented tier deck, and although it also got slightly hit by the banlist, but it's still the strongest contender. But it can no longer consistently fulfill 5-zone lock due to ban of Mind Hacker.
Honestly even if you transition from MD to TCG, you won't have too much trouble converting, though you will want to know a bit more about Kashtira since MD hasn't implemented those yet.
Pot of Prosperity is also insanely expensive and at 3 in TCG which you'd definitely run 3 of.

imo those pots are overrated. Sure, if you don't need the extra deck, have a lot of silverbullets vs specific archetypes or benefit from branishing your extra deck you should play them. But otherwise you lose 6 cards to bait an ash or go +1.
so as little bit of a side note i have been running 2 attack gainer in my trap trix which allows me to syncho into a naturia beast. and when i normal summon the gainer it allows me to summon any ash blossoms i have in my grave which then allows me to go into another synchro monster if needed. i dont use it very often but the times i have used it was very very helpful. also if you dont like gainer you could use magical hound pop an opponants face up spell or trap and special summon it then go into naturia beast syncho. just an added option for people to play around with
Traptrix is good against Laby, since all of the extra deck monster are immune from trap so they either need to destroy their own monsters or destroy your non-extra deck traptrix monster. Also Pinguicula and Pudica is the best combo. You banish lady/lovely with pudica and pinguicula eats them so they're not gonna get returned during the standby phase and your pinguicula now immune from the effect of fiend monsters.

The amount of UR and SR required by traptrix in the extra deck is a little unsettling 😳
You only need 1 copy of them all except sera.
It’s worth it such a fun deck
I run Lady in my traptrix deck and she makes the deck really strong by searching my other non-hole traps. Shes also a pretty decent wall too.
I'm planning to play traptrix too since I'm already playing labyrinth ty for the idea

@@mnf2091 maybe, i dont play eldlitch so i wouldnt know how the synergies would work but i feel only labrynth to run with traptrix is tge new lady that just released because shes good for any trap deck.
@@ItzPeteTv Traptrix doesn't benefit from eldlich since sanguine locks you into zombies and the golden land traps are continous traps

Traptrix, Labyrinth, spright those deck are actually preventing you on full combo, even when your turn which is what i like! Especially on Synchro.
You need strenna, jasmine combo and put mystic macramba seed on field to go into nat beast.

Funny enough had a labyrinth(me) vs trap trick earlyer and stuff they got is really good from what i saw….shame the moment i drop eventually match he immediately surrendered

They have no synergy, because the lab cards lock you into friends.
Only good one labrynth to run is the new lady. She wont lock you into fiends, she searches your other traps and is a decent tank. Plus she free summons off holutea.
Edit: holutea or any other trap.

I made a traptrix/labranyth deck that with a bit more tweaking can probably compete with the top meta decks.
Relatively ok deck. Pretty popular lately now that it got support but it's not going to be on dimensions the Labrynth deck is/was with EEV. I'm grinding the ladder with Ritual Dogmatika these days and didn't lose a single duel to them. Their comback and grind ability is pretty crazy but have a really hard time outing boss monsters.
It is kinda funny though, while it is worse than Labyrnth overall it also has an insanely favorable match up vs labyrnth. Arachno means you don't care about EEV and none of your Extra Deck monsters care about their traps either, I've been in games where the Labyrnth player struggles to interrupt any of my plays.

Jasmine, also normal summon a bystial, both effects are useful but I don't think that tech is all that competitive despite being able to give hyperiton a trap negate. but eh, traptrix's extra deck is somewhat flexible so why not?

A lot of my match ups against labyrinth I normally need to grind them down a bit, then pull out Zeus. Zeus wipes the field, and in my experience, it's hard for them to recover, but maybe that's not generally true, idk. If they hit u with skill drain, you're done for unless you've got a lightning storm, feather duster, or evenly matched in hand.
It's funny, until the new trap that forces players to send monsters it can't flip to graveyard, the best answer Labrynth has for Traptrix monsters is beating over them with big monsters like Archfiend, but they don't usually play that one so it winds up being an annoying matchup unless they open Evenly Matched.
Honestly we can play archfiend if the supports aren't out yet but since lady and big welcome is here archfiend doesn't have a space anymore.

1. Extra deck Traptrix unaffected by traps + labyrinth field spell does nothing to them which kills their entire trap removal strategy
2. Having the link1 let's you go +1-3 per turn when Labyrinth activates a trap alone
3. Link3 traptrix now beats over the their lovely beats ticks
4. Their degenerate strategy with virus is nothing scary compared against other decks
Only way labyrinth wins if they have a good hand and traptrix goes 2nd

Am i the only one that feels like this pack atracted alot of ppl who not only cant read they also dont know how to play yugioh? My first duel after the pack release i got someone using labrynth and the dimentional trap to prevent me for summoning a specific type of monsters. While using sky strikers the guy kept using the trap and prevent ritual summons. After failing 3x he surrendered.

@@JonBByte one of the most fun decks I’ve ever played if u don’t have the extra gems u don’t need to play what he does I can give u my list that’s cheaper but if u have extra gems I’d play : an artifact scythe + 2x artifact sanctum this makes ur deck so strong cause u can lock ur opponent out of special summoning while getting the sera activation at the same time
